A Few Minutes To Midnight and I Made It!! Episode 4 finally done.
Okay, I let life get in the way and nearly did not post the 4th video. It was also a tough one because I'm trying some different elements and may not have adapted as well as I will in the future. It is also the first time I have not been on the thumbnail (it just seemed inappropriate or too busy. One of the elements was finishing off the free product for viewers to fetch via my Ko-Fi link, so I guess I was doing 2 things at once and also life got in the way. Anyway, needed to crow about myself a little and keep the momentum going for my motivation. Thanks everyone! (BTW, if you are not in the USA, you can still use the spreadsheet as the prices are currency agnostic and it freaks out if you use them. You can also switch back and forth between Imperial and Metric measurements, so we can all be honorary Canadians for a day) Per Request, here's my Video link and the Ko-Fi page link is in the pinned comment if anyone want the spreadsheet gift :) https://youtu.be/ijILSO2FCC8?si=JEX80INE2m1Zj3Gc

Question to ChatGPT
Hey, does anyone here use the paid version of ChatGPT? Is it actually better than the free one? Also, if you’ve got slower internet like me, is upgrading still worth it? Please tell me your experience with ChatGPT! Ton of thanks!

I do not use it for YouTube other than to help with video titles. Even then, I don't use the titles it gives me, but more as a jumping off point. I have used it for other things and it can be frustrating at times, brilliant in other situations, and just plain "meh" the rest of the time. Just my opinion.

@Rudi Strahl And when it makes (inevitable) mistakes, correcting it eats up some of the 'free' tokens.
My first international podcast collaboration
This week I had the chance to join Mike Brandon on his podcast “Where Is It Now”. We talked about my very first geocache, my travels to 131 countries, and the adventures I’ve had with Cacher Reisen. I was a little bit nervous because it was my first video podcast – and also my very first time recording in English with other people. But it turned out to be such a great experience! Mike also shared his very personal journey with health, and it reminded me how much friendship and community mean – far beyond just finding caches. 💙 👉 Here’s the link to the episode if you’d like to listen: https://creators.spotify.com/pod/profile/whereisitnow/episodes/161---The-Whereisitnow-Geocaching-Podcast---Guest-Christin-from-Frankfurt-Germany-e375brj/a-ac46m8m This was my very first international podcast collaboration – and I’m excited for more to come! 🚀

Congratulations! Your English is FAR, FAR better than my German and though you DID seem a little nervous, I think that's okay.
Would You Share This on YouTube?
Hi everyone, yesterday I recorded a very personal video (first time in english). I talked about why I no longer postpone my dreams and adventures. Two life-changing experiences – the passing of my mom and the serious illness of a close friend – made me realize that life can be much shorter than we expect. 👉 Here’s the video: https://youtu.be/SGZnjuHS3LI?si=xS0rFA88JISGcbHR Now I’d love to hear your thoughts: Would you share such personal stories on YouTube, or do you think this is too private for a wider audience? Looking forward to your feedback 🙏 Carpe Diem ✨

I would absolutely share this story. I touch on this a little in some of my videos (at least, the one's I'm currently editing) that life is for the living and 'waiting' does not guarantee that it will happen. I think it is a great personal story and illustrates how anyone of any age can lose out on opportunities, so why wait? When is "Later"? (Wann ist „später“?) Thank you for the story and the perspective. One small tweak I would offer: You mention in the video that it is later in the evening that you are recording the last portion. Discuss why, especially if you needed a little time after talking about your friend and your mother. Being vulnerable makes you REAL to the audience and honestly, someone being "real" draws me in so much more than the bombastic, over-the-top shiny happy people. Just a thought. Danke

@Christin CiTi I love travel videos, the more eclectic the better. I watched two of yours merely for the scenery. I wish I could give my own advice on growing but I am not very certain how (It does not help I get unsolicited emails and DMs saying that the numbers on my channel stink and I need some magic snake oil they're selling...). I believe I will just post what I like to post, regardless of who may watch it. If someone likes it and it resonates, that's a great feeling. If it doesn't perform the way I would like it to (I would LOVE to have a wider audience, but what will be, will be) then it's a data point for me. As far as the community: YES! Even if nobody from the community watched my video, I'd still feel seen and supported, so anything beyond that is icing on the proverbial cake (Sorry for the idioms)

@David Taylor I would highly recommend David, @Christin CiTi - his second video in particular really made me think differently about filming. I need to put some theory into practice, but it definitely gave me a great perspective.
