DAW—which do you recommend?
I use Cakewalk by BandLab. I use the free tier. Pros—free, easy workflow, powerful for even professional level recordings (the Demos sound very professional). CONS-no comprehensive learning course. There are a couple of good YT channels but it’s piecemeal approach and time consuming. I’m a windows user and play guitar, piano, learning bass. Genres rock, blues, jazz, R&B, Soul and gospel sound (Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles)

I use Reaper, but I'm really into knowing the Cubase soon, as I heard recording audio there is more convenient (it has some additional recording-multitakes tools). My friend uses FL and I am jealous of how much professional plugins it provides him. I even have a colleague who uses 5 DAWs at once, because he claims every of them is better at something else and he wants them all. I think every DAW will do as all of them are to help you to create a music. And those small differences are just the addition. :)

I have Fender Pro on my radar now. I could see many mix engineers using it and I think I will try to see what they've got.

Hoping for the next album to have even more success. Stop by and listen, please don't forget to follow.

Battle
First time creating original music in years. Used to mess around on GarageBand all the time making music for potential video games in my head. Got really consistent at it but never really focussed on the finesse of it all, the EQ, compression, mixing side of things. Just throwing together melodic and harmonic ideas that sounded good to me. I want to get back into this, I really enjoy making music, but I want to change my brain to be able to simultaneously write my themes but also keep bearing in mind things like balance, both in terms of volumes and frequencies. My older brain and ears knows that there are issues to do with both in this idea that I've spent a couple hours on. If anyone passes and fancies and a listen and potentially a bit of feedback, I'm absolutely grateful for either!

Nice one! :) What sampler did you use?
trying a new genre
As always looking for people who want to collab or perform this track, not my usual genre at all but trying to broaden by range so they dont all sound like 90s indie rock throw backs, ive not done a full master on this, at demo and split to stems for this version., feedback would be great

I still hear those 90s influence, but it's a good thing. I like it 😁
