Emotional Maturity and Healing Triumphs Positive Thinking By FAR
Positive words and thoughts are super important but really they all too often can cover over and brush aside actually feeling our upset emotions and asking ourselves what needs and wishes of ours are and are not being met. These needs and wishes are the crux of self care and self love. If we don't know, honor and meet the needs and wishes that we can meet for ourselves, or ask for them if they are required to be given from others - as we are all interdependent - then who will? Emotional maturity and healing from past trauma is far more powerful than simply thinking positive and putting a positive spin on things. Positive thinking can lead us to firstly not investigate to know ourselves and our unmet needs and desires, and secondly to suppress our much needed deep upsets that need to be felt, released and expressed. Expressed either as cathartic released by ourselves or with others in a safe environment and with safe people, or needs, desires and emotions expressed constructively and healthfully to others for our good, and for the good of others. We want to both honor our truth, wishes and feelings and secondly, we don't want to enable others to act destructively or unhealthfully in our relationships by suppressing what needs to be expressed and shared.
