🔥 FREE ESPRESSO SHOTS: Let’s melt decision paralysis.
]The Context: We are halfway through January. For many of us, that initial "New Year Energy" has shifted into one of two states: - High Heat (Anxiety): You are doing "fake work" (tweaking logos, reorganizing Notion) just to avoid the one scary thing. - Deep Freeze (Overwhelm): You are staring at a blank screen because the mountain looks too high to climb. The Offer: I am opening the "Espresso Bar" for the rest of the week. I am not offering "coaching" (which takes an hour and feels heavy). I am offering an Espresso Shot (which takes 5 minutes and hits fast). How it works: You comment below with your current block. I will act as your "External Pre-Frontal Cortex" and give you ONE specific micro-step to break the seal. No fluff. No "blueprints." Just the immediate Door Handle to get you inside. ⚠️ Shop Hours & Expectations: I am in meetings (roasting beans) during the day, so I pour in batches. - Drop your order whenever you feel stuck. - I will slide your cup across the counter within 24 hours. - You will get served, just not instantly. @Sebastian Schroeder @Mahedi Kaiser @Reed Porter @Reema Rana @Lindsey Rhodes @Alison St. Romain @Ced Digital @Jorick Sikkes Please Invite others if helpful. 👇 CHOOSE YOUR ORDER (Reply Below): 🍵 "I need a Matcha" (Gentle Mode) The Vibe: You are frozen. You feel shame about not starting and your nervous system is locked up. The Fix: I will serve you a "Compassionate Pebble"—a task so small and non-threatening that your brain won't fight it (e.g., "Just open the tab and name the file"). ☕ "I need an Espresso" (Triage Mode) The Vibe: You are chaotic. You have 17 tabs open and are frantically "busy," but you aren't shipping anything real. The Fix: I will apply the "Frog Filter." We will slash 90% of your list right now and identify the only thing that moves the needle today.

Files and work flow organization. I feel like I have to go around every where just to get organized. So I put it off.

Logging into multiple apps, yes. I have gotten a Google workspace or workplace (?). I'm hoping I can get organized there.
PITCH HERE! "If I were you, I'd grow your business by doing THIS"
Happy Monday founders - now let's help each other grow! There are so many brilliant minds in this community, and I bet we can help each other massively with a tiny amount of effort. Inspired by @Matthew Burns, I made this post! As entrepreneurs, we juggle a LOT of hats. That means we often have a massive to-do list and are constantly "doing" things - but it's not necessarily the most effective things. So here's the game: 1. Write a one to two sentence description of your business. Who do you serve, and what do you help them do? 2. Share one spot where you're stuck OR where you're not sure what the most important task is in your business. 3. Comment on at least two other people's posts with one TACTICAL thing they can do to get past their bottleneck or prioritize their task list. Example in the comments. Let's all help each other grow!

I am a Registered Agent. I help people start their businesses. It's a great feeling. I struggle with organizing all my client info. I feel like I'm spinning my wheels trying to find a good, working system for myself.
How to Avoid ADHD Burnout & Procrastination
A new member, @Ced Digital, just made a very heart-felt request for help around ADHD burnout and procrastination. Seeing as this is something that many of us struggle with, I went into great detail around burnout, procrastination, and the two key motivators for getting yourself to do something if you have ADHD. You can check out the video below, where I discuss: 1. The two major ways ADHD brains find motivation for tackling tasks 2. How shame leads to burnout (and how to avoid it) 3. Why your business might feel like a chore and be difficult to execute on 4. And a bit more - all in 12 minutes! Oh, and just for funsies, I had ChatGPT fact-check me on this video so I wasn't misleading anyone. Here's what it had to say, if you're curious. (TLDR; it is all factually correct, if some bits are a little oversimplified) BTW, these are the kinds of things we help our clients with in the Focus Founders Accelerator. If you are an ADHD entrepreneur who would like help healing your nervous system, building systems that work with your brain, understanding why burnout happens, and how to build a business that aligns with your joys and feels REALLY GOOD to build, then book a call with Rex to discuss joining. You'll get to join many amazing souls like @Amber Kay, @Brian Diep, @Rainbow Bird de Soliris, @G. S., @Ori Apkon, @Mahedi Kaiser, @Sebastian Schroeder, and more! I'd love to hear from you - does this video resonate? Would you like to see more content like this? How do YOU experience and handle burnout/procrastination? Drop dem comments baybeeeeeee

Great video. One of the things I do that helps me, is set alarms for things throughout the day. Not like constant alarms, but when I get hyper focused I don't notice the passage of time. Nor do I realize I need to eat, but my husband takes care of that end. Anyway, I have one alarm to remind me to take my meds. I have 2 to remind me to take the dogs out. My husband takes them the rest of the time. I have alarms for zooms, and more importantly, football games. I stopped beating up on myself for not getting things done. This can be difficult, it's a daily reminder of our issues, it takes time to get more comfortable with it, but the less I beat myself up, the better I perform. I have learned to give myself grace. It helps that I'm older and have lots of life experience, but march on. Give yourself grace, patience, understanding, and self love.

I am amazed that this group exists, and very happy to have found it. I am neurodivergent (sp) and sometimes struggle to focus. Ok. More than sometimes, but whose judging? I think I'm gonna like it here.
