Hello! Welcome to the Cafe!

I did opt in to this one but some of the things that made me hesitate are: A) not entirely sure what to write - content B) I see a lot of posts about really cool stuff that people do and my stuff just isn't going to be that cool yet. - Comparison C) Connecting with people is difficult. Not because I don't know how, I am just jaded. It seems most people want a surface level "hi how ya doin" kind of relationship and that's just not my style. - Lonely D) I also tend to be the person that is asking other people questions. I don't share a lot about myself (I know this is in direct contradiction to C. I am a walking dichotomy but it's due to the jaded part) - Guarded and E) I know myself very well and sometimes people are put off by my direct and blunt nature. I work to curb it a bit but I am just me. So there is an element of fear of being too much. - eccentric/bold Those are my thoughts.

Honestly, I would love to send mail by any of these means. Going to the post office and talking to a very grumpy man who really doesn't want you to be there just takes a lot of the fun out of it. haha. 🙃
