💌 Send. Receive. Send Again.
A little gentle reminder that the magic doesn't have to end when you've sent your letter and received one back. The purpose of these exchanges isn't simply to tick off one letter and move on. It's to connect you with other women in a slower, more thoughtful way and, who knows… perhaps even the beginning of a lifelong pen pal friendship. Not every match will feel like an instant connection, and that's perfectly okay. Some friendships grow slowly, one letter at a time. But if someone has taken the time to sit down, put pen to paper, and send a little piece of their world to you, a small reply or thank you note is always a lovely thing to receive in return. It lets them know their letter arrived safely and was appreciated 💛 There are no rules around continuing to write. You don't need to reply straight away. You don't need to write every month. You don't need to become best friends overnight. But if your letter made you smile, consider keeping the chain going in some way. 💌 Write a short thank you note. 💌 Send a postcard a few weeks later. 💌 Ask another question and see where the conversation leads. And if life gets busy, that's okay too. Keep your letter somewhere you'll see it—a desk, a bedside table, tucked inside a book. Let it be a gentle reminder that there's a real person on the other side of that envelope. Because sometimes the most meaningful connections begin with… Send. Receive. Send again. 💌✨

@Sylvia Esquivel I've not had a couple people reply to my letters, it's a bit disappointing, but also life happens. You never know what is going on for someone at any given moment. And yes the fun is in the writing and sending I think.

@Sylvia Esquivel that makes me very happy. I love to know the exchange is still happening 😀
Warm and fuzzy part 2
@Wendy Madgwick thank you so much, I finally picked up my letter today and found out my mysterious penpal Edit: I do apologise to whoever it’s from as there is no name or address but thank you very much. Woop Woop I have mail, oh and all so cute, and the little giggle I made me felt all warm and fuzzy on the insides. And to boot I pick up my new kettle from the mail as well. Such a lovely little surprise @Julie Burns thank you so much. I have never received anything like this before.

@Wendy Madgwick That notepaper is so cute and I think fits @Jodie Turgeon so well with the little botanicals.

Did You Know ?
Oopsie, better late than never 📮 Why We Write P.S. Did you know… P.S. comes from the Latin phrase post scriptum, meaning "written after." Before emails and editing buttons, once a letter had been signed and folded, there wasn't an easy way to go back and add another paragraph. So if the writer suddenly remembered one last thought, secret, or important detail, they'd add it at the end with: P.S. Some letters even had: P.P.S. (post-post scriptum) and occasionally P.P.P.S.! Historians have found that the P.S. was often the most personal part of the letter—the little thing the writer almost forgot to say. 💬 Question of the Week Be honest… Are you a:
