It's to connect you with other women in a slower, more thoughtful way and, who knows… perhaps even the beginning of a lifelong pen pal friendship. Not every match will feel like an instant connection, and that's perfectly okay. Some friendships grow slowly, one letter at a time. But if someone has taken the time to sit down, put pen to paper, and send a little piece of their world to you, a small reply or thank you note is always a lovely thing to receive in return. It lets them know their letter arrived safely and was appreciated 💛 There are no rules around continuing to write. You don't need to reply straight away. You don't need to write every month. You don't need to become best friends overnight. But if your letter made you smile, consider keeping the chain going in some way. 💌 Write a short thank you note. 💌 Send a postcard a few weeks later. 💌 Ask another question and see where the conversation leads. Woop Woop I have mail, oh and all so cute, and the little giggle I made me felt all warm and fuzzy on the insides. And to boot I pick up my new kettle from the mail as well. Before emails and editing buttons, once a letter had been signed and folded, there wasn't an easy way to go back and add another paragraph.
