I just wanted to share something exciting—my channel is now monetized! It took only two months of hard work, and I’m honestly so thankful. I stayed focused, posted videos regularly, and kept learning as I went. It wasn’t always easy, but I stayed with it and didn’t give up. If you’re working on your own channel, just keep going. So on a random Saturday 3 weeks ago I woke up feeling down in the dumps. As one tends to do when the mood is low, I picked up my phone and started doom scrolling. Then YouTube gave me Alexa’s video, and of course I clicked on it. I genuinely don’t know what it was about that video, but I felt like she was kicking me in the butt and telling me to get up and do something to move myself closer to my dreams. So I immediately put my phone down, got dressed, and filmed this video; https://youtu.be/6vGTvv-vhfs?si=bZ-6CK9dgNcGO2Xo Then I went about my merry life, and … it started to snowball! Within 2 days I’d gone from 67 subs to 90. I told my husband, I’m going to hit 100 subs by Sunday! Well, I closed Sunday with about 400 subs 🤯🤯🤯 And it just! kept! going!!!!! Today, just 3 weeks later, I have almost 3,500 subs and 62k views! I 👏 was 👏 not 👏 ready! 😅 So here I am, feeling all the imposter syndrome in the world as people keep DMing me asking for help/advice. But also suuuper excited for what the future holds 😁 Thank you Alexa for the kick in the butt all the way here in Kenya 🤩🤩🤩
