There are times that certain members that join our community are abusing the level up system. The attached video is one such example. The question to ask when commenting or posting is am I being selfless or selfish? If I am the only one to benefit from the comment or post is me, then I am being selfish. I hate the like for like posts. Is the only reason to level up in this community to unlock the free goodies? I hope your answer is no. Comments with one character comments similar to: H I M Y N A M E I S ... How does any of those single letter comments benefit anyone in the community besides the poster? There are times my gut says not to engage with a certain community member. Not enough to report to the admins. Therefore I will wait a day or two before clicking on a notification about one of their comments. When I finally click on the partially viewable comment I get a message stating the comment has been deleted. I then check to see if they are still a member of our community. Most of the time they aren't. One way to vet potential JV partners is to see if they are cheating the level up system. If they are cheating the level up system there is a high probability that they will cheat their JV partner. On the flip side of the coin, if their comments and posts are insightful and well thought out, there is a high probability that they will bring significant value to any joint venture they are part of.
