Good morning, I have just had my onboarding call with lovely @Jessica Wise. She has been very helpful and really thorough and made sure that I have everything (emails, invoices, access to the training portal). Bit about myself. I am a single mum of 2 boys, working full time in the NHS as a Bank staff and also a landlord of just 1 BTL property. I have been wanting to learn about commercial property and been searching for the right mentor to guide and help me learn. I did say to Jess that I have a strong feeling that this community will help me achieve that. I am doing this for my 2 sons, my mother and also for our church so I can keep providing financial support for them.

@Ebun Scott I am very well. Working from home today :) I live in Ilford. However, my boys and I will be moving in Norwich early next year. Just bought a house there and I am closer to completion. I will be selling my house in Ilford and the money I will get from it after paying off the outstanding mortgage will be used on property investments (well that's the plan anyway)

A Thought I Wanted to Share With the Community Today
I’ve been in property for a little while now, and one of the biggest challenges I kept running into again and again was funding. Not the ideas, not the motivation, but simply the capital to keep the projects moving without relying on heavy loans. For a long time, it felt like that alone was the thing holding me back. But earlier this year, I started using a simple method outside of property, something digital, low-stress, and cash-flow friendly that allowed me to fund my property goals without needing loans or taking on that pressure. It genuinely shifted things for me, and it’s been the reason I’ve been able to keep building without feeling stuck or stretched. I’m curious to hear from others here too whether you’re just getting started, already building, or somewhere in between: What’s been your biggest challenge in funding your property journey, and how have you been navigating it? Would love to learn from everyone’s experience.

@Evelyn Bolden Hi again. Before I bought my BTL property in Essex, I started my e-commerce business - Amazon seller. I bought this training program from these 2 Irish men who created the amazon course business. I spent more than £50,000 on their courses , which includes coaching (cost around £7,000). Fast forward, I did not succeed despite of me spending hours and hours learning their strategy. I then realised that they were just after my money and other members who bought the training course + coaching. I together with other members tried to get our money back but failed. Anyway, lesson learnt, I guess. The money I used for this amazon business was the money I got from my NHS pension plus savings. I believed in them and trusted them. In addition to the amazon training course, I also bought several training courses like affiliate/marketing courses, wholesale training course, crypto. Lost count! I wish I spent my money on properties instead. I tried all of the above for the sake of my 2 beautiful sons so they can have a comfortable life when I am gone. I am not doing it for me, I am doing it for them.
