A Thought I Wanted to Share With the Community Today
I’ve been in property for a little while now, and one of the biggest challenges I kept running into again and again was funding. Not the ideas, not the motivation, but simply the capital to keep the projects moving without relying on heavy loans. For a long time, it felt like that alone was the thing holding me back. But earlier this year, I started using a simple method outside of property, something digital, low-stress, and cash-flow friendly that allowed me to fund my property goals without needing loans or taking on that pressure. It genuinely shifted things for me, and it’s been the reason I’ve been able to keep building without feeling stuck or stretched. I’m curious to hear from others here too whether you’re just getting started, already building, or somewhere in between: What’s been your biggest challenge in funding your property journey, and how have you been navigating it? Would love to learn from everyone’s experience.

@May Canlas May, your story really touchedšŸ˜”šŸ˜”šŸ˜” me, and I can relate to a lot of what you’ve shared. I’d love to talk more about it and share some insights one-on-one. If you’re open, feel free to reach out to me via my email.evelynbolden738@gmail.com

Good morning, I have just had my onboarding call with lovely @Jessica Wise. She has been very helpful and really thorough and made sure that I have everything (emails, invoices, access to the training portal). Bit about myself. I am a single mum of 2 boys, working full time in the NHS as a Bank staff and also a landlord of just 1 BTL property. I have been wanting to learn about commercial property and been searching for the right mentor to guide and help me learn. I did say to Jess that I have a strong feeling that this community will help me achieve that. I am doing this for my 2 sons, my mother and also for our church so I can keep providing financial support for them.

@May Canlas Welcome to the community and massive respect for everything you’re juggling. Being a single mum, working NHS shifts, and managing a BTL already says so much about your determination. I’ve been in property for a little while, and one thing I learned early on is that commercial can feel intimidating, especially when you’re building something for your family and community. What helped me was leaning into simple, low-risk strategies that didn’t require heavy loans or big upfront funding and it completely shifted how I approached the business. You’re definitely in the right place here, and your ā€œwhyā€ is powerful. If you’re open to it, I’d love to share some of the things that helped me.

@May Canlas I completely get it I was once in your shoes, feeling like I had zero knowledge and a crazy schedule. Everything changed when I met a builder who shared some key strategies with me. It was a total game-changer, and I’m really eager to share those insights with you. The only thing is, the Skool community has upgraded me to Level 9 before I can DM members directly, so I’m a bit limited here. Once we can connect properly, I’d love to walk you through what really helped me get started and make progress. but whenever less busy, you can reach out to me via, evelynbolden738@gmail.com
Well being and sustainable homes
Good morning. I had my onboarding with @Samuel Appleby this week which was very thorough and very useful, so thank you Sam. The reason for being here is that I would like to be involved in creating quality, affordable and sustainable homes. I have lived aboard so would like to bring some design ideas from down under. As the climate changes we may possibly need to incorporate that into design. I used to be an energy advisor then carried out EPC's and would like to make homes that are cheaper to run with a focus on nice outside spaces. Accommodation is the number one link to mental health, so spaces need to bright, light, safe and comfortable and will stand the test of time, so don't look awful over time. I am really keen to look at products such as solar sheets that can go on windows and I saw a sky light that also becomes a balcony yesterday, so innovation is important to me. I will be on the course in February so look forward to it and Merry Christmas.

@Niki Buskell I really love the way you’re thinking about homes bright, sustainable, and actually supportive of people’s wellbeing. That’s the direction things need to go. I’ve been in property for a bit now, and honestly one of my biggest hurdles at the start was funding. I didn’t want to depend on loans, so I had to get creative and ended up using a much simpler digital approach to move things forward. It’s been a game changer for me. Would love to hear more from builders and anyone working on ideas like yours. Really inspiring stuff. Merry Christmas šŸŽ„āœØ
The Harsh Truth About Wealth That No One Wants to Talk About
Most people say they want ā€œfinancial freedom. ā€But when you look closely, what they really want is comfort, not freedom. Comfort says: ā€œI’ll stay safe, keep things steady, and avoid risk.ā€Freedom says: ā€œI’ll take calculated risks, build something bigger than me, and live life on my terms.ā€ The turning point for me came when I stopped trying to ā€œplay it safeā€ and started thinking in terms of assets, leverage, and control, not just income. That’s when real momentum started. Here’s the thing: markets change, trends fade, but principles never do. If you don’t have a strategy that compounds, you’ll always end up starting over. What’s one mindset shift that completely changed the way you think about building wealth?

@Sheila Grant Thank you, Sheila really appreciates that. It’s one of those things that only really clicks once you’ve been through a few ups and downs. The moment you start thinking long-term instead of chasing quick wins, everything starts to shift. By the way, have you started your property journey yet? I only ask because I’ve been using a method that’s genuinely saved me from taking on loans just to keep things moving, and it’s made the whole process far less stressful. If you’re ever open to hearing about it, I’m happy to share.
A New Month, a Fresh Start Happy 1st of December Everyone
I just wanted to take a moment to greet everyone properly as we step into December. It’s the month where everything slows down a little, we reflect a bit more, and the year starts to make sense in its own way. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas in advance, however you celebrate it, I hope it brings a bit of warmth, clarity, and good news your way. This time last year, I was genuinely struggling to keep my head above water financially while trying to stay consistent in property. Funding, patience, timing… it all felt heavier than I expected. What changed everything for me was when someone in a community, not even someone I knew well, shared a different path with me. That small conversation introduced me to e-commerce, and it has honestly been the thing that gave me breathing space again. Running my store has taken so much pressure off, and it’s been scaling week after week. If not for that one person who decided to share what was helping them, I might have walked away from everything. Now I’m at a stage where I feel genuinely passionate about doing the same, sharing what’s been making the journey easier, especially for people trying to build something solid here in Great Britain. So here’s to a month of progress, clarity, and small wins that lead to bigger ones. How's everyone feeling stepping into December? Any goals, plans, or personal shifts you’re focusing on?
