5 Tips to sucessfully start your fitness journey this year.
1. Find your true why? (Dig deeper into the core reason you really want this. Usually, losing 5-10 pounds is not the real reason. It's more like I want to be able to be in shape for my children. That's usually a deeper meaning behind the weight loss.) 2. Have a goal with a precise timeline and make it realistic (Use the S.M.A.R.T framework) 3. Don't rely on motivation, rely on discipline (It takes 30 days to start a new habit. You won't be motivated every week of these 30 days.) 4. Bring a friend, a spouse, a coworker. (Having somebody with you, helps tremendously when motivation goes to shit, your friend will kick your ass, and you will go anywa,y NO EXCUSES) 5. Get help, don't do this on your own. (Get a trainer, a knowledgeable friend, etc. Movements are hard to learn but way harder to unlearn. Sometimes, a little pay-to-play is necessary to learn things the proper way.

@Kenneth Tressler Welcome Kenneth I hope you will enjoy yourself here and thanks for joining. :)
Introduce yourself
Hey welcome all newcomers, please use this thread to introduce yourself. If you are already working out please tell us what type of workout you do! For example, bodybuilding, powerlifting, running, etc. Also add the reason that got you started in the first place. If you haven't put your foot inside a gym tell us what you are looking forward to accomplishing in starting your fitness journey and also what make you decide to start this year. P.S If you workout outside of the gym, same applies there are countless ways of working out and all of them are welcomed here. We are a very inclusive community.

Hey guys whats up, I'm sorry for my absence in the recent months a lot came up in my professionnal and personnal life. I am not giving up on this community my goal is to help 1 million people get their fitness right and start the gym (or keep going). I will be more active in the upcoming months so feel free to add anyone that you think could benefit from this page. Also watch the course section because I'm going to upgrade it soon! This is the holiday for most of us so enjoy this well earned time with your friends and family! Don't eat the whole fridge during these times this is a common trap for most people. Okay love ya all and thanks for being part of this community.

๐Ÿ‹๏ธ Better Than Yesterday
Fitness isnโ€™t about being better than someone else, itโ€™s about being better than who you were yesterday. Every small win counts. Whether itโ€™s one extra rep, a cleaner meal, or showing up when you donโ€™t feel like it, thatโ€™s progress. Stay consistent, stay focused, and let your growth speak for itself. ๐Ÿ’ช ๐Ÿ”ฅ
