My Self
Hai guys, I am KJ , I am building my business through my youtube Channel and I am making content for the working professionals who have social anxiety and Freeze in their meeting to speakup with Authority if they have that anxiety recently I am started this niche I won't find it it finds me, before that I do random self help videos and watch many gurus nothing won't work, for 3 weeks I am following alexa in youtube, her videos shows me a path and I am now making content with satisfaction thank you. Sometimes my mind wondering is I am in a right track and I put a 1000rs for one hour consultation call in my description is I need to give free call or paid one this was my question running in my mind?

You could have a free 15-20 minute qualifying call. To book that free call people have to fill in a qualification form first which helps you prepare for that call and see if that client is a good fit. You can check what the client’s expectations are and what you could to for them. If they then agree to take you consultation you can charge for it
Pivoted - It worked and I just made an additional $15K
Hopefully this post topic is okay... if not sorry and feel free to remove. So last year I was focused on a youtube channel and I developed tools to help creators find their niche and develop their channel and it featured AI integration to tailor the tool to the individual. It went NO WHERE. I had made videos about the concept, and created a free software tool with paid add on featuers. There simply did not seem to be an audiance for the tools I was making. Now, this at first sound unrelated but it ties in... At the same time 5 seperate people asked me for help with something I had done in the past while I worked as a pilot. That is to develop a safety managment system for their company. The thing is, to do that you really need to know the individual company well. So then I descided, what if I adapted my tool I made for YouTubers, but instead made a tool that asked aviation companies questions about their operation and helped them develop and run their own safety management system. There is a new deadline that requires a whole bunch of small aviations companies to have something by May 2027. So I became super focused, I set up a formal company (FlyWise SMS), got my first client (who pays monthy for the service) and he was so pleased with what I provided that his company just asked me to help with another related task for an additional $15K. And I am getting other interest as well from other companies now. FlyWise SMS actually resulted in 2 spin off projects (1 is a 2nd company in itself, and the other might become one too). It required a lot of push, I had to teach myself some new programing skills, though I already had software developing experiance. I descided to hyperfocus on the development and stayed put on a 5 acre isolated property in the Philipeans and build the whole first pass of a multi-tenant software as a service tool in 34 days. I am a short sleeper and it is all I did (other than eat and sleep and adopt a stray kitten) for that time period and while I was developing it I made $0. But I stayed focused. There was still more to be done after that window of time but that was the big push.

@Margot Taylor That is an exiting video series by itself. How you discovered this new niche where you had the expertise and your clients have a compelling event and starting to monetise on it. This is a classical sales situation. In the first case nobody had a need to use and pay your tool - because there was nothing at stake or no big money for them to be made with it (at least not apparent to them) - now your clients face trouble if they don’t act - so they are eager for your solution ! Keep it up, you are on the right track
Confused Action Taker
Hello. I' reside in the Orlando area of Florida. I work remotely for my corporate gig which pays well but I've been trying in vain to attain other income streams for a year now to have more job security and double-time my retirement fund. I have no problems taking action, although I admit I'm a bit paralyzed at the moment. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to already be earning or on YT for the programs here. But Alex's videos resonated with me. This is what I have done so far. Maybe some of you can relate? 1) 9 months on IG posting twice daily for my personal finance offers. no sales or views or follows. TONS of classes and GPTs I paid for to help solve all the problems. finally shut it down. 2) just finished a freelance copywriting course. have my portfolio and website ready. the lesson on making a pitch list was only 14 minutes long. After 2 hours I have only 3 on companies on my pitch list. I'm supposed to pitch to 5 a day. making the website and portfolio was more fun than the actual copywriting, but it's a valuable skill to have, no doubt. just hard to use for yourself. 3) i've tried marketing what i do for my actual day job. reached out through LI, did Upwork and Fiverr profiles. got as far as 3 interviews for one company that was my only warm lead, but ultimately in my field people want actual positions that fit into what they hire for, and not a freelancer. they do contractors (i'm one now) but through large recruiting firms that employ us. not by a one off person reaching out. 4) i've got a spreadsheet i used to calculate college costs BEFORE applying and all the parents wanted it. i wasn't allowed to sell it in that group but i hired a programmer, had a website, got the thing all ready. no customers. About me: people come to me all the time for natural health advice. hormones. a supplement. some food ingredient. people i haven't heard from in years. my daughter is taking me on a journey personal training me in the gym and getting me counting macros and meal planning. i have quite a story where personal finance is concerned. a stranger walked up to me in a restaurant once when she overheard me giving my sister financial advice on the phone to say how much it helped her. people find my writing hilarious and engaging in social media groups where i'm not selling anything.

Looks like you have lots of topics to talk about. Alexa has a ton of videos on how to earn money on YouTube. One way could be through product sponsorship and affiliate links. You make a video and in that video you promote a product. People can buy it through a link and you get a commission. But first you have to find out : who is the person you are talking to ? What is their problem and how can you get that person from A to B to solve that problem ? Eg. Parents planning to send their kid to college. They have a lot of questions, doubts, worries. Especially about finances. Now you could gear your financial advice to those parents. The better you know the person you are talking to, the better you understand their struggles, the better you can help them and if you have products / consulting that help them they will be willing to buy them.
I just posted a video!
https://youtu.be/vhTSmQXQhr4 It's a short painting timelapse. Advice welcome!

Although the text is small - and maybe too much , the thumbnail immediately triggered my interest so I clicked on it. The video is great. I like the dynamics of it. It creates the feeling : I wish I could do that as well , is there a way of learning how to draw like that - even though I am not an artist ?
Quick Intro
Hi! My name is Ricardo. I started 4 YouTube channels on different topics that I'm interested in, but spent the majority of my time on two of them. The growth was slow and I started studying why. As far as I understand, I was focusing on the topics and concepts of the videos in an academic and impersonal way instead of focusing on what people actually need. The information is needed in the end, but with a different presentation. In order to make this change I decided to erase all my videos of the 4 channels (more than 200 videos in total) and start all over with the new strategy. I can reuse any parts of the previous videos if it is necessary. Right now I'm going to start the new series of videos to see how this changes and start making adjustments in the way. At this point I need to learn more about titles, thumbnails, and hooks. Any advice is welcome. It's great to meet you all!

What helped me to focus was to think of the "person that I want to talk to" - my "avatar". In my case it is my younger self: Me - about 30-40 years ago. What were my questions, my fears, my problems in my working life. What answers do I have now, after a whole life of experience. Things I would have liked to know back then. For you, your "avatar" could be different, but thinking about who that person is and what his/her problems helps to set the tone of your video. Regarding titles , thumbnails , hooks and script - check out Alexa´s white paper on script creation (see attachment) - or if you have not done so : go through the 30 day youtube challenge.
