Why Successful Men Rebrand Themselves
Listened to Antonio’s video this morning and it brought up moments in my life that triggered an upgrade. For me, this included my first failed business, a divorce, near bankruptcy…and the light switch that was flipped overnight. New identity, upgraded wardrobe, new relationships, creative clarity, taking risks again… and the moments of potential self sabotage that came back in our mind, providing an opportunity to overcome our past and fully root in the future self. What moments in your life have led to periods of growth? What feelings of self sabotage or self limiting beliefs do you struggle with? Would love to hear your stories of where you were, where you are now, and the paths that got you there.

@Aran Ewens agreed. Continue to go through multiple transitions myself here getting rid of old and worn out pieces and buying higher quality statement pieces for the long term (Cashmere and dress jackets).

@Bernie Henesy thank you for sharing brother!
I was totally surprised
So the other day I had to take my wife for an out patient procedure and once I got her home and I knew that she was going to be groggy from the procedure, I knew that there was some things that we needed from the store. I knew that we only needed a couple of things and I wanted to get them before that thanksgiving last minute rush. What I did not want to do was go to Walmart or Kroger because I knew the lines would be massive. I knew that there was a Big Star Neighborhood Store not too far from me and I had never been in there before just driving by it a could have times going places. Now this was my first time going in this place and I have seen not a lot of traffic coming in and out of this store. But I will tell you this, when I walked in I saw a young man moving some shopping carts and he had on some jeans, a white shirt and a black tie, Now my first thought was, “ wow he’s young to be a manager.” I noticed all of the men working there had on shirts and ties. I was totally blown away! The store was nicely kept and the employees were dressed appropriately in ties even the ladies looked somewhat decent in their attire. My point is this, it made my shopping experience there pleasurable and they were very respectful. I told my wife when she was more awake about my experience there. I told my wife that I would definitely be shopping there just because of the appearance and the experience that I received there. Just seeing the establishment having a dress code for the employees was refreshing and I believe this also effected the way the employees interacted with the customers.

@Scott Brown 🙌
Falling back to fall staples
Early morning men’s group to be followed by three appointments I chose a semi casual outfit built upon my Barbour flannel on a crisp fall morning. Added my Ralph Lauren Barleycorn tweed hacking jacket, black 501 button up Levi’s, a green small donegal tweed flat cap, a wool green/brown pocket square, my Lucessee European goat skin ropers and my Seiko model 5 to wrap up the end of a short week before thanksgiving holiday.
