Preheating
How long do you preheat your oven before you bake? Comment 1, 2 or 3 below. 1 = just until the oven dings its ready. 2= until an oven thermometer inside the oven reaches temp 3= at least 1-2 hours.

2 - for sure. I have just lost my fan oven, the inner glass exploded while I was baking so now I will need to use my lower oven which is not as easy to make accurate temperature as it has a dial and I need to guess the actual temperature as it only goes up in 50C incraments...

@Tracy Zenobia I was baking croissants at the time, needless to say, they didn't make it... I will try them again soon just to see how the lower over performs.
