Sooo this comic was technically finished on the twentieth of April, and I sent it out to those in my email list… but then my family went on vacation… and there was no WiFi… and well here we are XD. Sorry about the delay, after I finished this one I just sorta forgot about the others things I needed to do with the comic. So here it is! I put out auditions last week and have secured a hire to record a book on ACX! Thanks @Jake Phillips and everyone here for your direction and camaraderie! The title of the book is 100 Prayers for New Beginnings…pretty stellar start for me :^)

I actually got a royalty check from ACX today. Granted it's only $10, but it's $10 that I didn't have before. 😁

Katie Leigh, a voice actor friend (who’s been in stuff like Darkwing Duck, Adventures in Odyssey, Muppet Babies, My Little Pony, and lots of other stuff!) came to visit this weekend since she’s doing a nearby “Con” event. She’s been showing me some of her gear that she auditions with while on the road. This in an interface and shotgun mic and they sound AMAZING. I compared this Audio Technica mic with a Sennheiser MKH 416 and I really couldn’t tell the difference. Great options for a mobile (or permanent!) studio. Shotgun mics are a great option for less than ideal studio spaces.
