Schedule Change for this week!
Hey everyone, we have a change to the schedule this week. My boys have a football game tonight, so I’m moving our meeting to tomorrow at 7:30 Central. We’ll plan to go why you need a commercial demo if you want to make money with your voice, how to get one, and then do some practice reads and get feedback on them. See you Tuesday night!

Andy Griffith
My youngest daughter Ally Grace loves the Andy Griffith Show and she wanted to show you all some impersonations on tonight’s call.

Huge Milestone
Hey, everyone... I know I haven't been active on here lately. Life has been lifing. That said I have two big milestones to share. First... I just made the first tier of the YouTube Partner Program. This will allow me to start making money from YouTube. Second... And arguably bigger... For the first time since I started my voice acting journey last August I paid my mortgage, my utilities, and my car insurance with my most recent audiobook earnings. Will I be able to do it again in November... Honestly, probably not, but it really feels good to have this achievement under my belt either way. Am I bragging? Maybe a bit. 😂 But the truth is that I wanted to share this with you to let you know that YES, IT IS POSSIBLE. Do not give up... Ever! - JT

Hot Lead and Cold Feet
I know a few people that perked up when I mentioned this in last evening’s call. Just wanted to see what your favorite scene/actor was in the film. I’ve always loved Don Knotts so him as Denver Kid fighting Rattlesnake Jack were my favorite scenes personally 😅

Casting profiles
As I’ve been easing myself back into the world of voice acting after a break, I’ve been wondering about the importance of casting profiles on different websites such as casting club, ACX I’m sure there’s more that I’m not thinking of. Are there certain places that are more helpful to have a profile on? Does it just depend on your personal preference?
