Is your child wearing a "lead vest"? (A 5-Day Challenge)
I recently came across a piece by Harvard psychologist Jennifer Breheny Wallace that has been weighing on my mind. After working with thousands of families, she found a common, heavy thread: our children are wearing a "lead vest" of performance pressure. Many kids today believe their value is tied to their "output”, their grades, their starting positions, and their social standing. They feel they only truly "matter" when they are achieving. In this community, we believe Play is the antidote. It’s the one space where a child can be "useless" in the best way possible. When we play without a goal, we tell our kids: "I value you for who you are, not what you can produce." Starting today, I’m launching the Mattering Through Play 5-Day Reset. How it works: Every day for the next five days, I’ll be sharing two posts: - The Education: A short insight into why our kids feel this pressure and how we can shift the narrative. - The Play: A 15-minute activity designed to build connection, agency, and resilience. These aren't your typical "keep them busy" activities. They are designed to help our kids shed that lead vest and rediscover their own sense of mattering. Come join us at Connected Through Play. https://www.skool.com/connectthruplay/about

@Kerry Upham how do you incorporate play in your life?
❣️The Summit Audience Problem Nobody Talks About - Oracle Cards Magic Summit - Spring Edition - Applications are open now.
You've spoken at summits before. You promoted. You delivered value. You got email signups. Then what happened? Those people didn't open your welcome sequence. They didn't engage with your content. They definitely didn't buy. Because summit audiences are built on passive email lists. People who sign up for every free thing and implement nothing. You weren't speaking to buyers. You were speaking to people addicted to collecting free trainings. The host made money selling all-access passes. You got a testimonial that said "great energy" and zero revenue. Here's why: Summit hosts focus on registration numbers instead of audience quality. They recruit 50+ speakers, promise each one "exposure to thousands," then deliver an audience of freebie seekers who ghost after day one. More registrants doesn't mean better results for speakers. It means more people who were never going to buy anyway. This Summit Works Differently This summit doesn't live on email. It lives on Skool. Which means people joining aren't passively signing up for another free thing. They're actively joining a community focused on oracle cards, intuitive development, and soulful entrepreneurship. I just generated $12,000+ from my last two launches on Skool. These are people who engage, implement, and buy. That's who you're teaching to. When your session goes live, you're not hoping someone opens an email and clicks a replay link. You're teaching people who are already in the community, actively participating, and ready to invest in their next level. Oracle Cards Magic Summit: May 18-25, 2026 Four-day virtual event for heart-centered entrepreneurs, oracle card readers, and deck creators who want to sharpen their skills, expand their visibility, and attract the abundance that flows when they stop dimming their light and start letting their message meet its moment. Three tracks: Evolve. Connect. Thrive. Day One - Mini-Projects Sessions Day Two - Evolve - builds your skills.

🌿 When Your Child Is Heightened… What Do You Use Most?
When your child is overwhelmed, melting down, anxious or dysregulated… what’s your go-to response? 👇 Vote below (choose the one you use most often): A. Breathing / calming techniques B. Timeout / consequence C. Distraction (TV, snack, toy, change of environment) D. Cuddles / connection / reassurance E. I raise my voice / get firm F. I walk away / give space G. Medication / professional strategy H. Something else (comment below) Then if you’re open to sharing in the comments: ✨ How fast does it usually work? - Within minutes - 10–20 minutes - Eventually… - It doesn’t really ✨ Does the same behaviour return later? No judgment here. Every parent is doing the best they can with what they’ve been taught. This is simply about seeing patterns. And patterns are powerful. I’m really curious what parents are finding beneficial. 💛

When my were younger, it was breathing. When really stressed, I had them blow out an imaginary candle.

🎉 Two Months. 400 Members. And We're Just Getting Started.
Today marks two months since Crust & Crumb Academy opened its doors, and we just welcomed our 400th member. In that time, this community has become the #1 ranked bread baking community on Skool with a perfect 5.0 rating according to ProveWorth. Not because we chased numbers. Because we showed up and did the work. This past Saturday during our weekly bake-along, we hit 4,632 interactions in the group chat. That's not a typo. That's what happens when a community is built on real engagement, real teaching, and real bakers helping each other get better. That was also the day I earned my ⭐ on Skool, and honestly, that belongs to every single one of you. You built this with me. Here's what we're not: a community built around hype, upsells, or vanity metrics. Here's what we are: a place where bakers come not to get likes, but to get better. If you want to learn to bake bread from scratch, understand the science behind the craft, and be part of something that actually moves the needle on your skills, we'd love to have you. Perfection is not required. Progress is. 👉 Join hundreds of bakers inside Crust & Crumb Academy: https://www.skool.com/crust-crumb-academy-7621/about

That is amazing. I’m so thrilled to be learning in your community. Now to start applying what I’m learning.
My dad gave me this when I was a kid. 🪙
Every time I said "I'll do it when I get around to it" he'd reach in his pocket and hand me one of these. A round toit. Took me years to stop laughing and actually get the lesson. Here's the thing, though. I talk to bakers every day who are sitting on "when I get around to it." "I'll learn sourdough when I have more time." "I'll start baking bread when life slows down." "I'll join a community when I'm not such a beginner." Life doesn't slow down. You just run out of rounds. What's the one skill you've been putting off? Drop it in the comments. No judgment. We've got a whole community of bakers who were exactly where you are, and they started anyway. 👇 Tell me what's on your "when I get around to it" list. And if you're ready to stop waiting to learn to bake bread, come join us inside Crust & Crumb Academy, where bakers come not to get likes, but to get better. 🔗 https://www.skool.com/crust-crumb-academy-7621/about
