Coding
Anyone else doing coding with AI? Im doing it for tradingview which uses pine script. I'm surprised that ChatGPT is beating Claude and Gemini for my needs.

Yes, I build one script and two apps using AI coding recently. Google's Antigravity, Cursor, and Claude Code are my main tools. I use Claude models most of the time, but also had good experiences with Google's models for simpler tasks. The app that's the furthest along is optiontunity.com The other tools are just used internally, at least for now.
We’re wired for progress.
As humans, and especially as entrepreneurs, we need to feel like we’re moving forward. Otherwise, what’s the point? And coming out of the gate into a new year, even though it somehow already feels like January 75th, a lot of entrepreneurs are feeling the same thing... You’re working. You’re showing up. But you’re quietly wondering if you’re actually making progress or just staying busy. The truth is that if you are not measuring where you’re going, it’s really hard to know if you’re moving forward at all. And a lot of the time frustration doesn’t come from lack of effort. It comes from lack of knowing if anything you are doing is actually moving the needle. You can do everything right and still feel off if you don’t have something concrete telling you, “Yes, this is working.” So instead of asking, “Am I winning?” ask better questions. What actually moved forward this week? What’s clearer today than it was seven days ago? What’s one thing you could track that would give you real certainty? Progress doesn’t always feel exciting in the moment. But clarity creates momentum. What’s one thing you’re paying attention to right now that tells you you’re headed in the right direction? Drop it below 👇

I measure how much premium I collected and how much profit or loss I realized from stock options each week. I had AI generate a format conversion script to help me with that. It started with $3 in April 2024 and averages about $10k/week today. I also just launched my first vibe-coded educational app (optiontunity.com) and I pay close attention to how people use it, as well as the feedback they give online or in person. Another aspect I want to measure better: is the content I create delivering real value to people and does it help them overcome limiting beliefs?
📰 AI News: Disney+ Plans to Let Users Create AI-Generated Content with Mickey, Elsa, and Spider-Man
Disney CEO Bob Iger announced during the company's fourth quarter earnings call that Disney+ will soon allow subscribers to create and share their own AI-generated short videos using Disney's vast catalog of characters and franchises. The move represents what Iger called "the most significant changes from a product perspective, from a technology perspective" since the streaming platform launched in 2019. The announcement: Iger revealed that Disney is in productive conversations with unnamed AI companies to develop tools that would enable Disney+ users to create user-generated content and consume short-form AI videos made by other subscribers. While specific details remain limited, the CEO emphasized that any partnership must "reflect our need to protect the IP." This announcement comes alongside Disney's plans to introduce game-like features through their partnership with Epic Games, signaling a major shift in how the entertainment giant approaches subscriber engagement. What's being planned: → Users will be able to generate short-form videos featuring Disney characters → Content will be shareable within the Disney+ platform → The feature aims to create a more interactive and customizable experience for subscribers → Disney is negotiating with AI companies to ensure IP protection → No specific timeline has been announced for rollout Why this matters: 🎯 Platform stickiness: Disney aims to keep users engaged within their ecosystem longer by offering creation and consumption of user-generated content, similar to how TikTok and Instagram Reels function 💰 Revenue protection: By controlling the tools and platform, Disney can monetize user engagement with their IP rather than watching unauthorized AI content proliferate elsewhere 🌍 Audience shift: According to Deloitte's 2025 Digital Media Trends survey, more than half of Gen Z respondents say social media content feels more relevant to them than traditional TV shows and movies. Disney is responding to where younger audiences spend their time.

I would use this and share stories from my perspective in a creative way. This change could improve the value of the Disney brand if executed well.
AI Discovery: Perplexity Shines for Financial Insights
A friend recommended Perplexity.ai for financial analysis a while back. Today I got a chance to take a closer look at what they built and found it really useful. You can create a watchlist for stocks you are interested or invested in, keep an eye on earnings reports, and ask it to analyze and compare stocks in certain industries. It can rank them by P/E ratio, market cap, and a few other metrics. This makes it quite useful for doing market research based on fundamentals and other filtering criteria. This would also be useful when combined with scheduled tasks. They might offer it in the pro version, which I have not checked out yet. You could use that to give you a daily stock market update based on a few metrics or companies/industries you care about. Grok.com is another (free) option for that, due to their high volume of timely tweets on financial (trending) topics. If you're looking to improve your finances or grow your financial IQ, I would highly recommend checking out Perplexity. And if you're already using it for financial or other topics, please let us know in the comments.
