Pulling data from Azure DevOps boards
Has anyone achieved this outside of the connector which seems to be only available in power bi desktop. I want to configure a copy activity to pull data into my lake house about current work items etc.

Get value from notebook and pass to next pipeline activity
I feel like this should be easier than it seems. I’m trying to build an api call in a fabric pipeline. I have a lake house with a delta table that has a column of ID fields. Id like to iterate over each one and use the value to build an api call (one api call for each value). I’m struggling with outputting the value to the next activity, I’m trying mssparkutils and lookup activity but I can’t seem to get it. Any ideas?

@Will Needham Wow, that’s a proper workaround! Thanks I’ll save that one for future reference.

@Will Needham I’m trying to aggregate the output of these api calls into a json file. Do you have any tips? I’m trying to use an append variable activity after my copy data activity but I can’t see how to turn off the destination in the copy data activity and send the output to the append variable activity
IT'S FRIDAY!! So share your Fabric Wins...
Learning Fabric is a marathon, not a sprint. So let's celebrate the small wins we make along the journey. Share any recent wins you've had with Fabric in the comments below! Perhaps this week you: - successfully shortcuted into Amazon S3? - built a Snowflake mirrored database? - learnt some new data modeling techniques? - build your first eventstream to process real-time data? LET'S HEAR ABOUT IT!

I created a pipeline that looks up a list of company numbers in a Lakehouse table and iterates over each one to build separate API calls to the companies house website. The API then returns address details using a for each loop and saves them into another Lakehouse table.
Submissions from external companies
Scenario- multiple companies submitting sensitive data into main companies data store once a day. Each company must be able to access their own submissions but no-one else's. There should be an easy to maintain onboarding model and strict RBAC policies. Once the data is ingested, there should be only one copy. Go…

What are your biggest pain points currently with Fabric?
Hey everyone, happy Monday! I'm currently planning out future content for the YouTube channel, and want to always produce the content that is most relevant/helpful to you! So, some questions: - What are your biggest pain points currently with Fabric? - Anything you're struggling to understand? - Things you think are important, but don't quite grasp yet? It's this kind of engagement that led to the Power BI -> Fabric series, and then the DP-600 series, so I thought I'd open it up to you again! Look forward to hearing from you - thank you! Here's some potential things: - Delta file format - integrating AI/ ML/ Azure AI / Open AI - copilot - Git integration / deployment pipelines / CI/CD - data modelling / implementing SCDs - medallion implementation - more advanced pyspark stuff - data pipelines - metadata driven workflows - dataflows (and optimising dataflows) - lakehouse achitectures - real-time - data science projects - semantic link - migrating semantic models - using python to manage semantic models - administration/ automation - fabric api - other...?

Metadata driven stuff as well. It would be great to see some improvement there. Then deployment pipeline of course.

I am a Data Engineer, I’m new to PySpark but learning quickly and I am integrating Fabric into my workplace.
