Drifting.
I have neglected my regular routines and rituals pertaining to spiritual care for about a month now. Alex starting up the FLOW campaign again is a ramp for me to get back into gear. I want to say thanks for finding your way here. I will elaborate some other time but i just wanted to put a journal entry here. I know that this is a blessing, a community to share my spiritual stuff with. Have a awesome freekin weekend yall!!

Deadly Combi 😮‍💨🍽️
Breathwork and fasting are probably the most powerful combination you can experience, right after a direct energy transmission from a spiritual master. I've fasted for a total of 140 days within a single year. During that time, I meditated very intensively and practiced a lot of breathwork. What happened was that, to a certain degree, my body adapted to living on light, and I became much more sensitive to the energetic, non-physical dimension of existence. As a result, I developed a tremendous sense of distance from my body and my thoughts, and I was able to detoxify my ego to a certain extent. That's why I call it Ego Detox. And the beautiful thing is that you take something as fundamental as eating, one of our most deeply ingrained habits, and use it as a tool to transform your entire life. When you fast, you become aware of your relationship with food and everything that lies beneath it. How often do you try to fill an inner emptiness? How often do you eat too much, or perhaps even too little? And how do these patterns show up in other areas of your life, whether financially or in your relationships with other people? Fasting allows you to create distance from all of these patterns while simultaneously becoming more sensitive to the energetic, non-physical dimensions of existence. It's as if you create more space for that energy to enter your life on all kinds of levels. Suddenly, breath meditation becomes your breakfast, a walk becomes your lunch, and a beautiful conversation becomes your dinner. Because nourishment no longer has to come from physical matter alone. You begin to connect with the energy behind what you consume, while the physical form is simply digested and eventually eliminated. And this entire process is absolutely beautiful. It has transformed my life in ways nothing else ever has, not even powerful psychedelic experiences with Ayahuasca, 5-MeO-DMT, Bufo, LSD, or mushrooms. You should try it. Let me know what you think about this and whether you've had any similar experiences yourself.

I also like fasting and feel it has both a physical and spiritual impact for me. I am planning a 7 day dry fast towards the end of November- any advice would be great!

@Ajad SpiritFood I'll do my best to stay alive!! I've done various lengths of fasting up to 7 days but with water. I'm doing alternative day fasting at the moment but interested to see what benefits I can get from an extended dry fast.... we'll see what happens....
My "come to Jesus" Moment:
I would like to regularly post about my experiences so far, alone within Flowlife (or just a more conscious life), starting with my entry or "course" change, although I haven't changed much of my core being, just how i respond. Breathwork. Breathwork came to me in a moment of personal loss and conflict(mainly with myself). The first time I adopted conscious breathing, the effect struck me so hard I instantly knew I had to keep it, by any means necessary. Like a pill that suddenly made me see, It happened all in one moment. I know it sounds commercial, and saying it out loud minimizes the experience. Ever since then I have been doing whatever I can within my comfort zone, to preserve the change in flow and outlook that i recieved/percieved in that single moment. I realized later in practice that just about any of the well-known Prana building/guiding practices can have a profound impact, almost instantly but the one that grabbed me; The one practice that just happened to strike me like a lightning bolt was popular as the Wim Hoff Method at the time. Its a very old practice though, and I have since learned that there are many, many avenues to the self-realization that Wim Hof gifted me. For a short while, the Great Guru sent me to Wim Hoff and i learned. Now im here, reviewing my journey with lovely folks such as yourself; maybe you guys could elaborate on what you know about Wim Hof. What was your entry point? Was it sudden or a gradual journey to FLOW....? All of this is very new to me. Spirituality has always been familiar to me growing up in a non-observant Christian family, but Breathwork and focus on the observations of my attention is new and a refreshing return to "spirituality" (for lack of a better word) Anyway, I'm Nathaniel Hans-Peter Strong. Nice to meetcha

Hi Nathaniel- I started my breathwork journey a few years ago as part of my attempt to introduce healthy practices into my life. I started initially reading andthen did done online research and did an initial introductory course, followed by Advaita's 7 day free course and then 1:1 sessions with him. For me, breathwork is like the missing link bringing everything together and I think it's good to do different types of breathing at different times depending on how I am feeling. I've also tried Wim Hoff and still do that when I feel I need it. For such a natural thing as breathing I'm always amazed at how much there is to learn and I feel I have such a long way still to go.
