Create Your Own Fabric with Scraps
Gather all the scraps you have that fit the theme, mood, color or textures you want and piece them together until you get the amount of fabric you need. Obviously, this works best for small projects like purses, totes, pillow cover, embellishments, etc.

Pages in Bloom – A Month of May Art Journaling Challenge
Welcome to Pages in Bloom — a month of floral art journaling during May using old magazines, scrap paper, book pages, packaging, tissue paper, and any bits you have on hand. This challenge is about enjoying the creative process and making flower-themed pages in a way that works for you. There is no pressure to complete every day or use every prompt. The prompts are simply there for inspiration. Your goal is to create as many pages as feels convenient and enjoyable for your own schedule, choosing whichever prompts spark your interest. Some may make one page all month, some may make ten, and some may create every day — all are welcome. Perfect for Beginners No drawing skills needed No fancy supplies required. Just glue, scissors, paper, and a willingness to play. What You’ll Need: Old magazines Scrap paper Glue stick or other glue medium Scissors Journal, sketchbook, or loose paper Optional: markers, stamps, paint, stickers, washi tape Prompt Ideas for Inspiration Day 1: One Big Bloom – Create a page with one oversized flower Day 2: Petal Parade – Fill the page with flower petals only. Day 3: Garden Colors – Use only pink, yellow, and green scraps. Day 4: Tiny Bouquet – Make a small bouquet in the center of the page. Day 5: Wildflowers – Create a loose and free wildflower page. Day 6: Floral Border – Decorate the edges with flowers. Day 7: Flower Market – Cut flowers from magazines like a market display. Day 8: Blue Bloom – Make a floral page using shades of blue. Day 9: Vase of Flowers – Create flowers arranged in a vase or jar. Day 10: Spring Garden – Fill the page with blooms and greenery. Day 11: Daisy Day – Use daisies or daisy-like flowers.

@Deborah Popovich you never need to worry about posting here. This is a totally safe space. We dont measure ‘amateur’ or professional or whatever. Just create for the joy of creating. Love both of your pages. I got so carried away making a cover. I will catch up and finish pages 1 and 2 tomorrow
April BINGO CARD
My oh my! This month has gone by so quickly. I didn’t get a lot of sewing done and this was my month to reset. I did some things in my bingo card but I didn’t realize how absent I have been. Here’s to a more creative May!
