Setting up fabric using terraform and console
Junior DE here looking to setup fabric for my company. I understand this is specific but am I right in understanding the order or deploying resources would be something like. Azure subscription, resource group , vnets , subnets , iam users and groups , storage accounts , private endpoints, key vaults . Then move into fabric and start creating workspaces and then other resources. Is my chronology somewhat correct ?

Hey Victor, not sure what is the exact scenario for this infra you guys are building, and how you are building it (IaC?). Based on that you will have different patterns. Indeed, you will need to go through resource groups creation, capacity name, location etc. In the end you will need to buy capacity for Fabric. Of course, Az subscription is a must have, that's the starting point. Perhaps this link will be of any help -> Microsoft Fabric 101 Episode 2: Creating Fabric Capacity using portal and Terraform – Seequality Regard Marcin
Copy Data from Lakehouse in Another Workspace Using Data pipeline
The Problem: out-the-box Fabric Data Pipelines can't write from a Lakehouse in one workspace to another Lakehouse in another workspace - this is something I noticed a while back and logged a Fabric Idea (which apparently they are now working on a solution). In the meantime though, Microsoft released an article today with an interesting workaround, which looks like it solves the above problem: read more here: https://blog.fabric.microsoft.com/en-US/blog/copy-data-from-lakehouse-in-another-workspace-using-data-pipeline/
