🟡 Wow, Yes that was the amount Steve Jobs paid the famous graphic designer Paul Rand for the NeXT company logo. In 1985, Steve Jobs left Apple to start a new Company called NeXT, a technology-based startup. 🔵 Steve wanted a logo for the new company that serves the purpose and conveys the brand image. Steve Jobs called Paul Rand and conveyed his desires. Paul Rand on the phone quoted $100,000 for the logo. This was back in 1985. $100,000 in 1985 would be approximately $252,000 in 2024. 🟡 Imagine that. A single logo for $252,000 in today's terms. On the call, when Paul Rand quoted the price, Steve Jobs accepted it without hesitation. 🔵 That's pretty amazing.
