If AI Ends Humanity, What’s Your Final Skool Post?
There’s a lot of “AI may end humanity” talk going around lately. So let’s prepare responsibly. If you only had one Skool post left before the robots took over, what would you post? Bonus points if it’s: “Join my 30-minute How to Stop the Robots Challenge.” “Comment ‘ROBOT’ and I’ll DM you the survival checklist.” “Only 3 spots left in my AI Apocalypse Mastermind.” P.S. I’m not trying to minimize the real concerns around AI. Sometimes humor is just a good way to start the conversation. P.P.S. AI companies asking to be regulated will reduce their long-term liability and freeze new startups out of the bigger AI market. Also, they don’t need anyone’s permission to make their current models safer on their own. Just saying.

I have no idea. I do know AI has been around much longer than most people realize. Maybe it already took over😜

Skool News Recap (9/8/2026): New Features and the Growth Boost Reset
Here is what changed this week and what it means for your group. Also remember that the ability for someone to review your community now only shows up in the main forum after 30 days of paid or they can look anytime on your about page to see if they can leave a review. (We love reviews) Right now, if someone was previously in Freemium and just started paying, they can probably leave you a review, but they are tightening that loophole up soon. They always have to be paying to be able to leave a review. New Features Reviews now show in Google. Search a group name and its Skool reviews appear in the results, sometimes above the creator's own YouTube channel. Auto language detection. Skool now detects a visitor's language and adapts the UI, Discovery, about pages, video captions, and transcripts. There is effectively a separate Discovery per language. Suggested communities, ads, currencies, and local payment methods (like PayPal in Germany) are coming next. Growth Boost Was Rebuilt Campaigns were stopped and rebuilt from scratch across multiple ad accounts. Performance is already up, but it will take one to two weeks to return to previous spend levels. If your boost dipped recently, that is likely the reset, not something you did. Once spend is back, results are expected to be roughly twice as good. The team says Growth Boost is still at about 1 to 2 percent of its potential. How to Get Growth Boost Working for You 1. Put your Skool link in every bio and in YouTube descriptions. Skool needs to see where traffic comes from, and a specific traffic source is required to get scored. 2. Fix your packaging. Cover image, title, description, about page video and photos. Your cover image is literally the ad Skool runs. Test: would a stranger instantly understand what the group is about? Every Discovery category is a "trending" list, so browse your niche for examples. 3. Add an annual option. Recommended discount is 20 to 50 percent, but below 20 does almost nothing and the groups that work best sit at 30 to 50. Even at 50 percent off, you collect six months of revenue in month one, which lets Growth Boost recoup faster and push harder. 4. Try the slider high, then dial back. Moving from 30 to 70 percent more than doubles your efficiency score. Some groups that had never been advertised jumped near the top of the queue overnight. 5. Check your free trial conversion rate. Platform average is about 40 percent, but groups range from 8 to 80. The reset now scores trials per group, so a weak trial rate can cost you boost you used to get. If yours is well below 30, consider turning it off. 6. Make the group better. Retention and conversion improve every metric at once.

Drop Your Skool Community Card and Link to Your Own Community
It's our 60 day celebration party here on Skool, and since we're going live at the top of every hour, we figured we'd run something simple alongside it. In the comments, drop your community card (aka profile image) and your own about page link. That's it, nothing else. The idea is to help everyone see what everyone else is building, and it makes it a lot easier for us to spot you when your ads come across our feeds. As a little bonus, I'll be running some of your cards through a few creative variations. Think of it as a fun what if, not a critique. (I'm even wearing my creativity shirt) So if your community is up and running, post your about page link and attach your current community card below.

@Todd Thornton Haha, 🤣I look so funny, not like me. Chat really likes "rustic" colors for natural things. I gave it to Canva. Thank you Magic Layers. Here it is with an actual photo of me, and four different background colors that are more aligned to my brand
