How I made my first $10k sale
I couldn’t even imagine making a $1k sale 2 years ago, let alone a $10k sale. It took me 3 months to make my first sale online: $13 And then 6 months later I sold an online business owner on a $10k copywriting/consulting offer from my laptop in Ireland. He paid me another $3k a few weeks later to help him with emails... Resulting in $13k total. Here’s how he found me. Everytime I learned something, I made a youtube video. When I’d get a good open rate on an email, I’d share the strategy I used. When I’d sign a client, I’d share how. When I helped said client make money, I’d make a video about it. After doing that for a few months, this guy, Michael, saw one of my videos about winning the Skool games (my biggest accomplishment in business at that point). Michael wanted to grow a Skool community, and win Hormozi’s Skool games by being one of the fastest growing communities in November. He watched my video, and booked a call. From there, we chatted about his goals, and I told him it’d be $3k-$5k for me to write him some marketing to help him win the Skool Games.. I told him on the call, that I’d: “Draft up a written proposal after doing some research so he could see exact pricing.” This was important. Because this is where I added a few “extra” optional items. I said *if he wanted* I could also design him some graphics to help his skool about page convert better. And help train his operations guy on the CRM automations he’d need for his emails. And a few other things, all priced at $1-2k each. He asked me a few questions about pricing. I offered to send him a cheaper copywriter if my proposal was out of budget. “No let’s go with all of it. $9,900.” I couldn’t believe it. I turned my phone off and laid on the bed. I remember thinking, “I can’t wait to tell my mom about this.” Now I had to help someone win the games. Michael made $50k the next month and won the skool games. I went on to sign 3 10k+ clients in the following weeks. Takeaways?

Carlos has been on Skool for over a year. He lives in Columbia, and was joining communities, sending dm's and still couldn't crack $10k/mo. 2 months ago, Carlos cracked $10kmo for the first time. We'd only been working together for 6 weeks. (Putting him in the top 1% income bracket in his country) So let's go back to what Carlos was doing last year: - Joining other Skool groups - Building his skillset and learning ads - Making content about Skool - Networking - Building his own group to attract leads But no one was responding, or often when he'd get on a sales call, he'd wind up closing them for less $$$ than he thought he could. A few thousand here, and there, but Carlos couldn't seem to crack $10k/mo. One of my youtube videos popped up on his scroll one day. And next thing I know, I’m getting on a call with this young Columbian kid. I remember, even thought he wasn't making what he wanted to make, he was still super excited about Skool. Carlos asked me how I ran my sales calls and we spent 45 minutes rebranding his entire offer. I showed him how to ascend low ticket clients to bigger offers. And how he could pitch people without feeling "salesly." Carlos wasn’t sure the outreach messaging I helped him with would work. But he sent it anyways… Next thing we're on a call, and I ask him how the outreach was going.... “Patrice! … Thank you so much! This is going to be my biggest month ever!” After a frustrating year on skool, it took us just 6 weeks of working together, for Carlos to hit his first $10k. Because he rebranded his offer as premium, implemented my sales script, and started targeting a clear avatar (with buying power). It’s not about spending tens of thousands on ads, or going viral on Youtube…. No matter how many coaches sell ya that dream. It’s just about bringing leads in with a low ticket “attraction offer,” so you can build trust first, and then give them a higher ticket product that gets them results. Want to map out your own ascension funnel so you can control your traffic and bring in consistent income?

@Andrew Nicholls That great idea
Merry Christmas!!! Here's how I'm celebrating....
Disclaimer: I love my family, and this has been 1 of the funnest Christmases I can remember. Now today it's Christmas day.... And we've just launched a new ad campaign. Yesterday, Christmas Eve I took sales calls, and brought in 3 new clients. Made $3k. Posted a Youtube. Wrote an email campaign. There's no obligation to you to turn your laptop off right now. There's no obligation to have it on either. It depends on your goal right now, and the way you've chosen to accomplish it. I spent the last 6 hours with my family, opening gifts, making food. It was absolutely lovely. My fiance Miles is officially part of the family after experiencing a Moore-family "present opening." And now I'm upstairs getting work done. Thing is, people try to project "made up" rules onto you, especially during the holidays. But you don't need to choose between business and family. That's a limited mindset. Because if you have a mission to share something. Or a goal that stretches your potential.... It's your obligation to bring that into the world. And taking 2-3 days off won't slow you down much. But working a couple hours those days won't negatively effect your family either. So when you're celebrating, just be present. When you're with family, be all there. When you're working, be all there. The future belongs to the people who can do both. Excited to see you all this Saturday and share the funnel I'm going all in on for 2026. Have a MERRY Christmas and comment what you're looking forward to in the coming year! 🎄
