Solution for find_dotenv returning empty string
I was trying to follow the tutorial by running load_dotenv(find_dotenv()) and was receiving empty string from find_dotenv. Turned out find_dotenv() would start finding .env file in the python file directory instead of the project directory. So if you have project structure like the following where my_script.py has the find_dotenv(): project/ └── scripts/ > my_script.py └── .env find_dotenv() will return empty string as it searches for .env file in the scripts folder instead of project folder. Got resolved by entering find_dotenv(usecwd=True).
Found this cool video of Multimodal Prompting with Gemini 1.5 Pro
You can now ask LLM models to extract data from videos and also even add images in the prompts. Pretty cool!

@Drewe MacIver IKR it's mind blowing. Imagine the possibilities out there with these technologies. Police criminal investigations could be expedited too.

@Brandon Phillips not yet. Still ramping up my knowledge. Will share if I ended up doing some projects.

Hi everyone, Lotus here! Some background knowledge in AI ML but haven't really built any project. Looking forward to creating some Gen AI based Real Estate Projects. Let me know if anyone is interested in the field too.

@Drewe MacIver thanks for asking Drewe. For now, I am thinking of a platform that can provide me a few investment deals based on my income, downpayment, strategy (BRRR, Flip, etc...), location preference etc... And you can ask follow up questions to the chat bot just like you are talking to real estate advisor. Sth like that. Could change along the way though.
Dotenv problem
I've spent most of the day trying to fix a problem loading dotenv to even get started on the langchain experiments worksheet, and I'm just stuck. Has anyone encountered this problem or know how to fix it?

+1 to what Brandon said. You should activate the right virtual environment. If you think you have the right environment, you might also want to check out potential conflicts with your Python installation or environment variables.
