@Al AndersonThat is incredibly kind of you to say truly, thank you. I’m honestly just grateful to be part of your group. You’ve built something special, and I respect the space and community you’ve created. If I can contribute in any small way or help your members on their journeys, that means a lot to me. As for starting my own thing… maybe someday. Right now, I’m just focused on writing the best books I can and continuing to learn. There’s always more to grow into. And hearing that you love my books? That never gets old. Thank you for the encouragement it really does mean more than you know.

@Al Anderson Awesome, have you worked on the necessary editing, formatting and the likes...... i have written and published 15 books so far on amazon working on the other title at the moment,
More Formats = More Money 💰
The fastest path to more royalties isn’t just more books — it’s more formats. I’ve earned over $100K in self-publishing royalties doing this part-time. And no, that didn’t come from one ebook. What actually moved the needle for me was adopting a publishing mindset and stacking wins. If you’ve published an ebook — that’s a win. But if you stopped there, you’re leaving money on the table. Ask yourself this 👇Why haven’t you moved on to: - Paperback - Hardcover - Audiobook Readers don’t all buy the same way. Some people prefer a $3.99 ebook. Others want a $14.99 paperback. Some will happily pay $25+ for a hardcover because it feels premium or gift-worthy. And busy commuters? They’re using Audible credits they already paid for buying your 🎧 audiobook feels frictionless to them. That’s price anchoring and buyer choice working in your favor. Paperbacks and hardcovers are often gifts. Ebooks and audiobooks are usually personal purchases. Different use cases = different buyers = more revenue paths from the same content. So why do so many self-published authors stop at ebook? Because it’s the easiest. Formatting paperbacks and hardcovers requires sizing precision. Audiobooks require an upfront investment. And that’s where people stall out. But if your goal is to make money, not just “publish a book,” then multiple formats aren’t optional, they’re strategic. Same book. More doors. More ways to say yes. Stack your formats. That’s how royalties compound. 👇 DROP IN THE COMMENTS WHAT FORMATS YOUR BOOK IS AVAILABLE IN OR WHAT FORMATS YOU PLAN ON PUBLISHING IN! (sample data example in image)

@Gemma Coles Oh i just got your response, you mean you haven't written any book yet?
What’s the hardest part of your writing journey right now — marketing, editing, formatting, or publishing? And what’s stopping you from fixing it?
Many authors love writing but feel overwhelmed when it comes to marketing, editing, formatting, or publishing. I’m curious to know where you’re stuck right now and what’s really holding you back. Let’s talk about it.

@Linda Maples Sure, i have my books on amazon, i do both within amazon and outside amazon promotions, i worked on amazon SEO, this helped my book ranked high on amazon, i worked on amazon ADS, I worked on sales funnels too, the results was a boom and a life changing one for me you can also try it too Although i am working on my 16th book at the moment a lot on my plate lol
How Long Did It Take You to Make Your First $1,000 From Books?
I’m curious about real timelines in self-publishing. How long did it take you to earn your first $1,000 from your books? - Was it from one book or multiple? - Organic sales or paid ads? - KU or wide? - Fiction or nonfiction? I feel like a lot of new authors expect fast results, but I suspect the timelines vary way more than people talk about. Would love to hear honest numbers 👇

@Linda Maples Congratulations!! 🎉 That nervous-but-excited feeling is totally normal it means this matters to you. For marketing, I use both inside and outside Amazon. Inside: optimized keywords, categories, strong cover/blurb, and Amazon Ads. Outside: social media, email list, and ARC readers for early reviews. Quick questions for you: - Are you building buzz before launch? - Do you have ARC readers ready? - KU or wide?

@Krista Brea Positioning is everything. Once you dial in who the book is really for and how it’s framed, the rest becomes optimization cover, blurb, categories, keywords all working together to improve conversion. I’ve found that small tweaks over time can steadily move the BSR more reliably than one big promo push. It’s less about spikes and more about building a stable sales engine. but trust we can share ideas if you don't mind.
