ā€œStruggling With Weight Gain After 40? Here’s What’s Really Happeningā€
Ladies, if you feel like your metabolism has slowed down and fat is clinging to your waistline, it’s not your fault. Who has heard the promise of "Just Eat Less & Exercise More". You've tried it and it doesn't work, right? WHY????? After 40, your body changes in ways the diet industry never talks about. Let’s break it down: āœ… Muscle Loss is Slowing Your Metabolism Losing muscle = burning fewer calories at rest. If you’re not doing resistance training, you’re losing muscle every year. Lifting weights isn’t optional—it’s essential. Move daily, build strength, and your metabolism will thank you. āœ… Estrogen Drops, and Belly Fat Creeps In Estrogen helps regulate fat storage, and when it declines, your waistline pays the price. But here’s the truth: - Prioritizing protein first keeps your metabolism firing. - Swapping processed carbs for fibrous veggies keeps hormones balanced. - Eating enough healthy fats supports overall hormone function. - Adding Synthetic or even Bio-Identical Estrogen can just add to the problem. āœ… Insulin Resistance is Working Against You Too much insulin = belly fat storage. And it’s not just about sugar—stress, poor sleep, and inflammatory foods all spike insulin. - More of the right foods (lean proteins, veggies, and healthy fats) keeps insulin in check. - Eliminate inflammatory foods to stop the cycle. - Balance blood sugar to keep cravings and energy stable. āœ… Stress is Forcing Your Body to Hold Onto Fat High cortisol = belly fat, fatigue, and cravings. And here’s the kicker—over-exercising and under-eating make it worse! - Create a daily rhythm. Your body thrives on structure. - Sleep is non-negotiable. Poor sleep = stress hormones = more fat storage. - Ditch the all-or-nothing mindset. When you fuel your body correctly, it will start working FOR you, not against you. šŸ˜ This isn’t about ā€œeating lessā€ or ā€œworking out more.ā€ It’s about working smarter and supporting your body’s natural rhythms. Once you dial that in, fat loss becomes effortless.

I feel for me it's all of the above.
The 15 Hormones Affecting Fat Loss - Part 1
Who has heard a Friend say or perhaps thought to themselves....... - "I just keep gaining weight and don't know what to do" - "What use to work for me just doesn't work anymore" - "I exercise more, even eat less and still gain weight by just looking at food" (See-Food Diet) - "I'm getting bigger and bigger and more tired - I'm frustrated and actually scared" - "I've gained too much weight and it's really affecting my Health, Family, Friends, my Job, my Relationship, my Energy. I'm confused, what do I do? It can be confusing, even frustrating. So you go to the Doctor (when you can finally get in to see one 🤣) Who would like to hear a short Dr./Patient conversation about just one of the 15 Hormones Affecting Fat Loss? REPLY - "Fat Loss Now" down below.šŸ”„

Working on both, but honestly #1 I struggle with far more.
Healthy oils
Avocado oil is recommended for things like homemade mayonnaise and dressings, I am wondering about olive oil? Is that an oil we can use and stay healthy?

I have been in the orange category 80% of the time. So, I am going to improve that this new year and get in the green.
