I’m Researching to support family members with Cancer . Happy to have found Prof Thonas Seyfried and this platform . My mum in law - Breast and Lymph . Uncle - Colon ) But Only Dad engaging with Metabolic Theory . My Dad age 74 has grade 3 Prostate Cancer PSA 7.3 T2 NX MX july 2024 diagnosis . Grade 3 adenocarcinoma Dad is fully engaged with trying Keto & is on this protocol i found which includes. Fenben, Iverneem ( liquid Ivermectin human grade ) CBD , Melatonin , Berberine , Milk Thistle , Serrapeptese , VitD , Zinc , Vit C . Apricot seeds. MCT oil He is not having much luck yet getting into theeapeutic ketosis but is only taking under 20g of carbs a day & is in his first week of internittant fasting to work up to a 3 day water fast to get into ketosis and then Hbot press & pulse . Working through your guides to lean how to do it and to get the D drug. He can’t afford to loose much weight as is on the thin side already after gallbladder remival n june . On the positive side he started the gym , has great energy, positive attitude , sleeps well . Possible Downside - some stress and on ADT . Monthly Injection which may be rising glucose figures! my question please is What is the research and opinion on taking ADT with Seyfrieds protocols . I read the Seyfried nature article which indicates it raises glucose levels & found one podcast where he inducated it was the wrong thing to do but did not expand . Keen to connect with UK members 🇬🇧 about their experiences , get educated here & help give him the best chance of reducing PSA before the doctors here at the NHS push him into radiation in the new year . I feel it we work hard and nail it down he can avoid that ! Thank you for your help .
