You’re Closer Than You Think — But You’ve Got to Keep Moving.
If you’re tired right now… good. If you’re questioning if it’s even working… good. If you feel like progress is moving slow… good. That’s what it feels like right before the breakthrough. You’re not stuck. You’re not broken. You’re just in it — and the only way out is through. Here’s what I want you to remember today: ✅ You’re doing better than you’re giving yourself credit for. ✅ Every rep, every meal, every tough choice is stacking up — even if you can’t see it yet. ✅ The hard days are building the version of you that you keep saying you want to become. Stay in the fight. Because the easy thing? It’s quitting. The powerful thing? It’s staying locked in when it would be easier to coast. 💬 Drop a 🔥 below if you’re still in the fight. Proud of you — even on the days you don’t feel proud of yourself. Keep swinging. 🧱

We’re all about growth in here — but real growth starts with honesty. So here’s the Friday check-in: 👉 What slipped this week? Was it your nutrition? Your training? Your sleep? Your mindset? You don’t need to be perfect — you need to be aware. Because once you call it out, you can start fixing it. This group isn’t about pretending. It’s about progress. So let’s normalize checking ourselves before we wreck ourselves. 💬 Drop a comment: “I slipped on ____ but here’s how I’m adjusting.” Let’s turn slip-ups into strategy and end the week with momentum. 🔥

To be honest...this week was good for me. I joined the group Sunday and I feel good about being a part of a community. I feel it gave me that extra push this week to get my ass up and start back walking, which I have done, 4 days out of 5, only because I had some foot pain. It felt really good.
You Don’t Need More Time. You Need More Discipline.
I just don’t have the time right now. I hear it all the time. And I used to say it too. But let’s call it what it is: Most of the time, it’s not about time — it’s about priorities. The truth? ✅ You had time to scroll. ✅ You had time for Netflix. ✅ You had time to hit snooze three times. But the gym? The prep? The reading? The uncomfortable work that moves the needle? That somehow gets skipped. Not because you’re lazy — but because you haven’t trained the discipline yet. Discipline > Motivation. Motivation fades. Life gets loud. But discipline? That’s what makes sure you show up especially when life’s a mess. If you’re serious about building a better version of you, It starts with doing what you said you would — even when you don’t feel like it. 💬 Drop a 🧱 below if you’re ready to build real discipline this month — brick by brick. I believe in you.

I agree! It does take some adjustment to get back in sync with what you know really does feel good, mind and body. I'm back at it, getting up to walk at 5am and realizing how good I feel knowing I did something good for myself. Keep doing what you're doing!

Hello everyone! I didn't really get a chance to finish introducing myself. I live in Las Vegas, coming up on 27 years. I work at RC Willey, in the flooring department as an administrative assistant. This is where I met Kevin years ago when he was a Shaw Rep. Fun fact about me is that I have a thing for wildflowers. Quotes, songs, which my favorite one is "wildflower" by Skylark. My coworker, before she ever knew my thing with wildflowers, bought me a bottle of wine, yep...called Wildflower by J. Lohr. Crazy! As for favorite movie, I love all movies with Denzel Washington! My go to movie when I'm feeling down is "The Chef" and "Fools Gold". So, I'm here because it's never to late to bloom and I'm entering a new decade and I want to work on being the best version of myself! Let's do this!

When I got serious about losing weight, I started tracking to help me stay within my daily calories. I also weighed my food to see what a serving size actually is and also to keep me in a calorie deficit. For me, it's a good tool to keep me in check. I'm not so much of a snacker but when I have a meal I tend to overeat because it tastes so good! I personally feel that tracking is not necessary forever. It can be time consuming but for me it was well worth it. Calories add up fast and easily. I need something to keep me accountable at times with food portion and tracking does that for me. Also, I don't want to be on a "specific diet" I love food too much, so I would rather be able to eat all foods but make good choices daily and tracking helps me with that. Kevin, I like the 3x3 method To keep it simple and I do try to do that.
