Foundational Strength Vs Race Prep
Submitting a question in advance of tomorrow please - @Nick Bester Admin please redirect me if there's a better place How should our strength and plyometrics work change/adjust as we get closer to race day? And how will that vary in terms of distance? Should we keep pretty much the same "routines" but just ease off the weight whilst tapering or is there anything we should avoid? Thanks!

Hey Team, Here is the recorded session from yesterday's strength and conditioning webinar πŸ”₯ Nick really made us work up a sweat in these 15 to 20 minutes. Such a good session to be a part of! A lot of work goes into these sessions, it would be great to see more members joining us live! The sessions work out so much better when more members are involved. It's a huge help knowing you aren't doing the workout alone. 😁 Let's get ready for next weeks Info Chat, as Nick mentioned, he will be addressing any and all questions on the London Marathon. Get you're questions locked and loaded. 🦾 Strength sesh: Superset 1: - Lunge and twist x 6 each side - calf raise x 12 each side Superset 2: - jump squat x 10 - Hamstring raises x 6 each side Superset 3: - side dips x 10 - Superman hold, leg flutters x 10 Let us know how the workout felt for you? 🦾 Boom Shakalaka πŸ”₯ Aaron and the Nick Bester Team

Q: Can a short double replicate the benefits of a mid-onger single, particularly early in a training cycle, or should we look to shift our days round to fit? Does it ever make sense to utilise this method e.g. for holidays?
