I’m trying to build a second brain to keep my popcorn brain under control šŸ˜šŸ˜…
If you've ever felt "AI Overwhelm", please read this.
Every single person following AI right now is overwhelmed. Including me. I make videos about this stuff for a living and I still feel the pressure. New model drops. New framework. New feature update. It feels like every single day. But after hearing a ton of you guys bring up "AI overwhelm" week after week, I realized this: → There's a HUGE difference between knowing the "what" and knowing the "how." Staying aware does not mean testing everything. Most new tools and features only need the "what." You see the title. You understand what it does. You move on. The "how" is reserved for the stuff that solves a problem you actually have right now. So when something new drops, I ask myself one question: Does this solve a specific pain point I'm currently dealing with? If yes, I test it in a real scenario. I test it against something that actually matters to me. If no, I save the link. I mentally file it away. And I keep walking. Because here's the thing. Your north star is probably very different from mine. Part of my job is to experiment, form opinions, and share what I think is useful. So naturally I test a lot of stuff. But if your north star is building a business or getting better at your craft, then every shiny new tool might just be a distraction. The number one mistake I see people make is they try to learn everything. They watch every video. They test every tool. They jump to the next thing before the last thing even had a chance to work. And if I've contributed to your overwhelm with my daily uploads, I apologize. hehe. But a lot of people think that this ties directly into how you measure your day. Productivity is not how many hours you worked. It's how many meaningful outputs you created that actually moved the needle towards your north star. Someone can work 12 hours one day and feel insanely productive, but they were just watching tutorials and playing around with new tools. Meanwhile someone else sits down for 5 hours, ships the one thing that actually matters, and makes more progress.

Any business owners here other than the AI space?
Do we have any business owners here who are not in the AI space but here to learn AI? Asking since I want to talk to as many of them as possible. Would love if someone's up for a chat.

Business owner here, I came at AI from running an existing operations-heavy business rather than from the tech side. Good to see this isn't only an agency crowd. Happy to swap notes with others applying it inside a non-AI business.

@Meet Soni mainly for handling my emails… always ended the day with many mails unhandled. Once I built my skill and knowledge base for my mails and contacts, everything changed. It has context and writes how I want. Also adding fireflies to meetings helps me a lot!
Who is building their own personal AI OS?
Who is building their own personal AI OS from the ground up? I would love to talk to you about your strategies and frameworks you are using. Im getting started with mine and plan to scale it to be a whole team running itself with an orchestrator.

I have several projects that perfectly work standalone. They are all in one map and they are all well structured with their own Claude.md etc… is there a good way to merge all of this without losing ANY functionality? Because all projects have their own routing in my DIY, Claude do this, way without any professional experience. Any tips on this?

Voice workflow
Hi all, I’m trying to build my aiOS that I can control is with my Voice from anywhere at anytime. On my computer it’s easy. I’ve built a speech to text exactly like Whispr flow works but then locally. Speech - local llm transcribe - text cleanup with local Gemma 4 and a custom python script with my keywords. This is amazing and FAST. Great for prompting with my voice at zero cost. The next step is a bit more difficult but still pretty ok. I want to do the same with my iPhone... The recording automation is easy: shortcut button - record audio - tap for end recording - save to Dropbox (or iCloud). The computer gets this audio file and my desktop system transcribes it at the same high level with all my personal words. I speak dutch, so the Claude speech to text is not as good as my personal system and has limits. So far so good, but now i’m stuck… I sometimes have a voice prompt like ā€˜write me this e-Mail’ (it runs my emailskill with knowledgebase). Sometimes it will just be a braindump saved in my ideas & sometimes I need the text back on my Phone. ā€˜Honey, i’ll be home by 5 and yes, I will put out the garbage’. This would be amazing for when i’m on the road and will be the future of my system. All Voice, all Apple devices connected to my aiOS knowing what to do. Anyone got a good idea for this architecture?

@Phillip Jonker hi Philip, thanks for your quick reply! The ā€˜intent classifier’ is exactly where it nerds to go After the message has been cleaned. Telegram bot - this idea is ok but how can I keep this structured in a nice way? iMessage - same question Pushover - never haard of this & will look this up Shortcuts webhook that returns the cleaned result - this sounds difficult but might be exactly what i need. I’ll dive in to this

@Dionny Chejito yes, that’s what I thought. Gemma 4 has some nice models which I can run on my MacBook (m5/32gb). So it’s all about the setup
