Companion Podcast Launched! 🚀
As if a book launch wasn't enough... The premier episode of Your Business Growth Podcast just dropped! 🎉 In each episode, I sit down with a successful business owner who grew their business, hit a plateau, and then... found a way to breakthrough. 💥 We follow their journey, learn where they got stuck and why, and most importantly what specific tactical strategies they used to get unstuck and back to the growth they deserve. My very first guest is none-other than US Army Veteran, serial entrepreneur, and author, Ryan Crownholm. When a he got run over by a truck and laid up in the ER, unable to physically run his business, he had some tough decisions to make. 🚑 Couple that with a market crash and he was in serious trouble. Most business owners would have thrown in the towel, but not Ryan. Tune in to my chat with him and discover what he did to get more than unstuck... but double his business every year after that! 👉 https://yourbusinessgrowthplaybook.com/s1e01-hustle-trap-ryan-crownholm/ 🎙️ Your Business Growth Podcast - the companion show to my #1 Best Selling book, Your Business Growth Playbook, is available NOW on all major platforms like iTunes, Spotify, iHeart Radio, YouTube, and Amazon Music. Tune in and Subscribe today! And thank YOU fellow non-fiction authors for all of the love before, during, and now after my book launch! 🫶

Congratulations! I plan to start a companion podcast as well. I actually tried to start it a few months ago but realized I was doing too many things at once. I’m still debating about whether I’m jumping in soon or pushing it out to next year.

@Jeremy Shapiro it’s all very intentional! I have another 4 books coming over the next 5 years, as well as a related community. The podcast will 100% be happening, the question is when.
Do This!
I tell everyone; I’ve said it once, I’ve said it 100 times, and I’ll keep saying it forever. Read what you write, THEN, re-read it out loud. Say the words you have written as though you are reading your story to another person. I guarantee you will be shocked with what you hear, and the immediate improvements you can make. I don’t know why it works, but it always does 🤷‍♂️ So get reading out loud and see what you think? 📖

I have an education business leading collaborative storytelling with kids. I read their stories out loud during class as they’re writing them. I believe this helps them understand how their writing is coming across so much (and helps them see where they’re missing some grammar).
My Day 3 Summit recap
You know how when you were in school and it was coming to the last few days of the semester, and you were hoping that the class was going to be a bit easier and slower paced, well this 3rd day was nothing like that as we were still drinking from a fire hose. 1. We started off on the Publishing Path with the #NoBoringBooks Process - this 14 step BL process is what governs the Booklaunchers process for working with all their new authors. 2. Chad and Elissa then took us through several editing styles that are needed to understand whenever you work with an editor. From Copy Editor to Fact Checkers to Proof Readers. And I learned that it is the Designer who makes the inside of your book look pretty and inviting. This gives your book the polish it needs to have its best appearance. 3. There were a couple guest speakers of which I had to step away for one of them to take a call. However, Rene Ready's story inspirational. Given her condition - yet she was still able to write a book - that story is powerful! I know I will be listening to the replay to again hear Rene's story, and the one I missed for sure. 4. Srah and Elissa then described 'How to put books in readers hands'. From multi-channel distribution to multi-format, from Direct Sales to Referrals by LLM, there are many ways to reach the goal 5. But first you have to ask yourself: what does your reader consume; where does the reader buy my book; where does my reader find new books; what metrics are important to measure; and what do you want the ability to control. 6. No matter what channel you choose you need: clear author brand, rich structure content which leads them back to your website, media and influencers talking about you, and consistency across all channels. 7. Next, they discussed the distribution channels of Ingram Sparks, KDP, D2D, Direct to Consumer, and 48 Hour Book. You all will need to see the replay and watch and understand the Pro/Con for each of these channels. Remember that you get the most royalty and most consumer data by selling direct, but it does come with some additional work too. Make sure to see the replay!
