I replacing my 15 yr old acoustic amp. I'm considering A Boss Katana-100 Gen 3. I don't gig, I play mostly at home and want a sound that has a warm clean sound and less tinny. I'm looking for suggestions/recommendations from the community. My budget is between $300/$500 US. Tks

It looks like I'll be hands off the guitar for a while, probably several weeks at least. I got a non-displacement fracture in my left wrist this Wednesday at Gabriel's workshop. How? I was putting my guitar strap around my neck and did something funky with the wrist, I think it was extreme inward flexion and the bone just snapped. It really stinks because I was getting some momentum going with these shell etudes and really enjoying playing my new blinged out Ibanez Guitar. The upside is that I think I may have caught onto an osteoporosis condition and can take steps toward correcting it now rather than later.

So, I finally recorded this. Took a long time for me to be able to play the head somewhat smoothly. Many pushups. I wanted to delve into bebop, so I started with one of the first tunes Dizzy recorded. I was pleased to discover that the original recording features a guitar. I found a nice backing track. I realized I had better post this before summer (in the Northern Hemisphere) is over. I tried to incorporate some diminished arpeggios in my "solo". Also, I snuck in a quote. It was a bit of a challenge playing without the piano in the first two solo choruses (cheat sheet comes in handy for that). Perhaps I should have taken more of a chord melody approach when piano dropped out? In some ways a slower tempo is harder, more time to think- more time to wander. https://youtu.be/573y-dMEhVY
