Hello folks, I've been hard at work on an adventure-writing gig for Brotherwise Games. Part of my responsibilities for the module I'm developing is to oversee playtest programs---if you're interested in running some Cosmere RPG, this is a standalone adventure that can be completed in a few sessions of play (probably two or three). It's 10th level, so if you haven't tried Stormlight RPG before, it might be a bit of extra work to get through, although it's a pretty intuitive D20 system. Each group chooses ONE person to fill out the form, and in the next month or so, they'll run the adventure and fill out the attached form. I'll sift through the results and use them in revision. If you're interested, check out this form! The project does require that you and your players sign an NDA, which you should send my way if you're selected for the playtest. Spots are limited due to the way we sort through the data, but we need a good number of groups, so consider checking it out if you're interested! It's a cool glimpse into an upcoming Cosmere project, a chance to try out the game, and has what I think is a pretty cool scenario. Hello Folks! I'm Lip and I've been DMing for about 8 years now. I'm hoping to get better at it. I have mostly focused on 5e, Tales from the Loop (PbtA), Genesys (Shadowrun), and Call of Cthulhu 2nd Ed. I'm open to exploring new table dynamics and tips and tricks to keep the game interesting and engaging while managing table expectations. Hi ladies, gentleman and everything in between. I have been interested in sharing some ideals but feel like they don't belong. I do not have a game right now and I call myself a GM, but I’ve only run two games. I’m just going to say it. I love crunchy games and feel they can bring great imagination to a character story. I don’t dislike rule lawyers as long as they do it not to gain the system, no human railguns please. Right now I don’t have the funds to buy The Game Master’s Handbook of Proactive Roleplaying but I’m looking to get it, but I do use other systems that sound close to it again I don’t have the book so i'm just going off of what I've been told and glimpse. I suppose what I am saying is the space seems to be repulsed by crunch, but that is part of my style and while it is just maybe me in my head the feeling is my ideals shouldn’t be said out loud. So I ask for wisdom from all young GM’s to the distinguished GM’s. Should I just change or does my style have a seat at the table?
