I do yoga on a fairly uneven basis. I am not that good at it. I don't know if it does help with running, but the physio said I was quite flexible for my age last week, so I think there is an overall benefit - maybe more for recovery after the runs.
I would love to know 1) What are your goals for this week? 2) What obstacles do you need to overcome to achieve these goals? Go ππ»ββοΈπββοΈ
Goals for this week are to enjoy my glamping holiday, maybe try a few short runs and go in the sea. Then hopefully try a slow 15km at the weekend! Obstacle is just to make sure I donβt overdo it and look after the injury
Today is my win, I have ran 8.2 miles which is my longest run since the injury took me out. Just focused on distance and not pace. I am just glad to be keeping moving and have to overcome the urge to go faster/overdo it

1 this week my goal is to continue with the slow runs and maybe try a few more different exercises as things seem to be going well with my leg. 2 work is busy so thatβs the main obstacle - I just had to cancel two days leave this week :(
Happy Friday! 1 I have been for 2 runs and felt ok when running slowly so this has given me hope I can at least keep moving and going to try 10km on Sunday 2 glad Iβve made it to the end of the week in one piece after balancing looking after my nephews with running and life π honestly I donβt know how parents of young children manage to get so much done! Phew! 3 still persevering with the physio exercises and healing my hamstring.
