My favorite translation
Have been using the I Ching since the late 60's...it has shared much wisdom with me! my favorite translation is the one called The Book of Changes and the Unchanging Truth by Hua Ching Ni...it is a much more Daoist version than the old Wilheilm one...much easier to understand and apply to your life...

@Solala Towler thanks for sharing! I haven't heard from that translation, probably because it's not available in Spanish, but I'll search for it in English 🤩 Talking about translation, I find Huang's version, also taoíst, to be very approachable, easy reading and tecnically correct. Although being written by a taoist máster, it is not blurred by that philosophy but enriched with stories of those times. I highly recommend it 🥰
I Ching x 9 Star Ki
I am curious to hear from people who actively work with 9 Star Ki (used with feng shui, TCM, shiatzu...) I am currently in the middle of a training program that connects the ITjing with 9 Star Ki. That combination opens up a perspective that goes far beyond the standard interpretations of both systems.

Hi! I'm not used to working with the Star, but I understand that we ser talking about Li, Fire, and the 20 years cicle we are living. I can discuss widely the trigram interpretation tough. What would you like to talk about?
Hexagram of the Week: #1 - ä¹¾ The Creative
Our next weekly lesson is live. If last week was about threshold energy, this one is pure upward motion: the moment when inner power starts rising like a dragon lifting from deep water into open sky. Check out the classroom section to read the full text. If you’re in a phase of new beginnings, leadership, or creative expansion, this one will speak directly to you. 💬 Where in your life do you feel a new wave of creative energy wanting to rise?

Hi! I think you described very beautifully the powerfull hexagram 1, thank you for sharing 🥰 I do have a different point off view about something specific. I don't think this is a beginning, I believe hexagram 1 is a part of what we need to have (together with hex 2) in order to start something in hexagram 3. This thougth is supported by the fact that the nuclear hexagram of 1 is itself. Thus, there is nothing before it, it creates itself, just as hexagram 2. They are the creative principles, what is needed to create something, not the beggining but before it. It is somehow "outside" the cicle. I know it is a very subtle and abstract point 😅 but I believe is relevant. This is a very hard hexagram to apply to daily life, so pure it has a qualily of "non human", because it is really not. It is the mystery of creativity in us, the divine within us. Thank you so much for this nutricious space of debate 💜
