It's all a matter of perspective
Today I learned that anxiety and excitement involve the same chemicals and the same physiological responses. The only difference is how we interpret them: we view anxiety as a bad thing and excitement as a good thing, when in reality it's the exact same thing. The same applies in other domains of life: you can make your life heaven or hell depending on how you view it. You can look at an error as a bad thing, or as a lesson. Sometimes I look in the mirror and I feel like the most handsome man alive, sometimes I feel the opposite. But I didn't change: my perspective did. One mindset helps you grow, the other keeps you stuck. That's why I'm actively trying to make a more positive mindset, and I think we all should.
