Hang or Fold?
Do you prefer to hang or fold your t-shirts and polos? I like to hang because it’s so easy but sometimes get shoulder bumps from the hangers. If you hang have you found a good hanger to prevent shoulder bumps?

I fold everything, including dress shirts. If you're careful, I feel like they wrinkle even less than if you hang them. It's way easier to pack for trips, too.
What do you think about hats?
I have a really nice black fedora hat at home that I think could go well with the elegant style. Do you think its too outdated to wear today for a 19 year old?

As a fellow fedora wearer, I think it's a piece you can wear at any age :) You'll figure out whether you want to make that your signature piece or if you want to wear it occasionally when it fits the rest of your outfit or just the weather. You may need to take extra care with the grooming of your facial hair – bad shave + hat can come across as a hobo style, wearing the hat to distract from not taking care of yourself. Whereas if you combine it with good care on the rest of your face, it can highlight your features. Pro tip when you're on the go and it's too hot in the sun: Put some water on the top side of the hat, it will evaporate and keep your head cool.
London School Trip OOTD
Good Morning Gentlemen, We are in London for our school's international trip. As a consequence we're going to do a lot of walking around. Last week, as the last day of the quarter, we teachers get to do seminars for the high schoolers. Mine was " How to build a wardrobe." The main rule was " Casual is not sloppy ." This is what I am trying to go with here. My big purchase here in London was this Barbour Quilted Jacket OOTD Details Kiltane Harris Tweed Flat Cap Jos A Bank Ecru Dress Shirt Collars and Co Green Button Neck Sweater Olive Barbour Quilted Jacket Lucky Brand Dark Denim Thursday Boots Anejo Leather Sneakers Timex Watch SOTD Floris Jermyn Street

Kronaby Smartwatch
Most folks here are into classical design with their watches, and I do love the look – but for me a watch needs to deliver more than just the time. I've been wearing Garmin (Fenix 5S Plus, if you need do know) and couldn't wait for something which looks a bit less 'techy'. I also barely used its features, and the device is too expensive for what it offered to me. Now I switched to a Kronaby Nord, and I've been wearing it for a month and feel like I can report on it. First off, I love the design. The watch face is simple, the bezel looks nice, and of course it uses sapphire glass. Unfortunately, the less is said about the vegetable leather wristband, the better. But that one is easy to replace at least. Price point is around 250€. As far as smart features go, it has a step counter, multiple vibration alarms and notifications you can set up on the phone, and a countdown timer – this countdown timer is what I really want in a smart watch. I often quickly set a timer directly on the watch for when I need to leave for the bus, so that I can relax and socialize until then. You can also remote control devices or media playback on the phone. Not all is perfect with this watch: The vibration alarm could be way stronger, I couldn't use it to wake up in the morning. The watch uses a standard watch battery (1-2 years run time according to website), so probably they want to save on energy consumption with this, but I'd prefer to have to charge it every month and have a noticeable alarm. The app could be a bit higher quality, and in general the company tries to appear more premium than it really is. It even shows in the name: They call themselves "Kronaby of Sweden" but are based in Spain. No problem with that, but I wish they would put more effort into actual quality vs. appearance of quality. It's a solid product, but I think they could compete with premium watch brands with a bit more effort.

Fan of linen fabrics and quality shaving products. I'm also interested in historical (~11th century) garments. I sometimes sew myself.
