What's your favorite DAW?
Hey everyone, here is a little action post I want to initiate: I am aware that a DAW is always a matter of taste. I am also aware that a DAW is only as good as the composer and in the end it really doesn't matter because the outcome is what really counts. Howeverrrrrrrrr .... 1. What is your favorite DAW/What is the DAW you are using? 2. Briefly explain why you like it or what features you like it for? Go! :)

Cubase Pro because of the easy way of handling both midi and audio. Waaay back in the 80s, it was first C-lab Creator followed by Notator both on Atari 1040

Cinematic Percussion Course - Your Input Needed! :)
Hey dear Audio People! I hope you are all prepared for a chill and relaxing weekend! I am currently working on the concept of my Cinematic Percussion Course and wanted to ask for your feedback. My plan is to talk about the following topics (always in relation to percussions): - Sample Libs - Rhythms - Arrangement - Mixing & Mastering Please let me know if there is a topic or whatever coming to your mind that you are curious to know more about.

Sounds interesting Alex. On a general note Live producing (in stead of track walk though) is far better. I also notice that other educators just states "and then I chose this sound" without reasoning why this and not another. That would be relevant information in order for us to understand what to listen for. I understand it is part of a creative process to choose the right instrument/sound, but still it would be interesting and relevant to understand why it was chosen. Have a nice weekend.
Taxi.com
Does anyone have experience with Taxi.com ? I have been a member on and off, and had 15 "forwards", with not contact to the libraries. I interpret this, as the screener are out of "sync" with what the libraries actually are requesting. What are your experiences/thoughts?

@Dave Graham You know you can still get the briefs from Taxi in order to be up to date what is "hot". It seems like it is going more and more towards cues/songs with vocals.
