@Kris Leek It always goes like that 😅 be aware I’m letting you know so you don’t get worried or give up. As well as with plateaus you may get to one eventually where it seems like you aren’t losing any weight but it will change eventually either that or you would have to adjust diet more.

My workouts on my 48hr shift, Chest Saturday, Arms Sunday. What I am definitely struggling with is my music. I've been trying to listen to something that is not angry or hard-core but a decades old habit is hard to break. What do you guys listen to? Today I talked with my son who is a Redshirt Freshman at University of Mary for a little over an hr while I worked out and then listened to low-fi for the last 15mins.

@Richard Murillo Yes, I can understand this. I have given up secular music, it is almost like a kind of withdrawal in a sense where sometimes you think of the old music you used to listen. Try this listen to music like on Spotify "Music for Eucharistic Adoration" and listen to those. Some are really beautiful. Listen to songs like a few which I enjoy are Seinn Aillelu by Liam Lawton and Theresa Donohoo, What Wondrous Love by Marian Grace, and The cry of the poor by St. Louis Jesuits and John Foley. How beautiful it is my friend! That which is sung for the Lord! You will be in my prayers my friend!
At what point do I seek a Dr.?
I've been work like crazy to loose weight doing all the usual stuff and getting 6K steps or more in a day. Still where I started weeks ago at 255lbs At what point do I seek medical evaluation?

@Kris Leek I recommend using the app life sum you can scan many items by the barcode to add it. I would go to Calorie Calculator to input info to check what your maintenance calorie intake is, then go in a deficit and lower that amount. This will help with losing weight, it is not only about exercise, food has A LOT to do with it. Going onto a calorie deficit without working out even helps to lose weight. But I do recommend working out with it. Also depending on how long you have been working out it can cause muscle growth which muscle counts in your weight. What are all of the ingredients in your protein or vegetable shake? In a protein shake some ingredients may have a lot of calories, as well as carbs, I would recommend doing less carbs and sugar as well. Less sugar and carbs may contribute to tiredness so since your job is stressful, I would recommend at least going into a calorie deficit. In summary calorie deficit, deficit in calories very helpful in losing weight, check what's in your protein/veg shake may be high in calories. Most importantly always keep in prayer, offer up this suffering you may have from the calorie deficit as mercy for souls who do not yet believe, the souls in purgatory, as well as reparation for the sins against the immaculate heart of our dear Mother the Blessed Virgin Mary. Brother you will be in my prayers! This will be a tough journey! Nothing is impossible through Christ our Lord! Pax et Bonum!
