So I did a bisque fire on my plaque for my sister and two things happened. It cracked through the middle and it also bent again. I did all the things suggested for the previous tile that warped. I used batts to flip it when I was rolling it out and drying it. I kept the weights on it and it was perfectly flat when it went in. Is there something I can add to prevent warping or strengthen the clay? This is the wild clay so I’m not sure if it is missing a key property to keep it flat. The crack is only on the front side - is there anything I can do to fix it?

wedging a small amount of grog or sand into the clay will help to keep it from warping so easily. you can sand down a bisque piece and mix the dust with magic water to pack into the crack... I've done this with limited success.

To make Magic Water I mix a gallon of water with 5 grams of soda ash and 3 tablespoons of sodium silicate. It's a liquid that fluxes the area where you apply it to make the clay fuse quicker in that location, a lot of people use it for attaching handles.

Unexpected Double Delivery from 1240… What Would You Do?
Hey everyone, I need your advice on a situation that honestly feels a bit strange. A few days ago, I ordered some glazes from a supplier in Poland called 1240. If you’ve seen my latest YouTube video, you already know which ones I picked—I already received them and unpacked all 16 on camera.⭐️ When I placed the order, I first tried to pay by credit card. The order was confirmed, but shortly after, I got an email saying the payment had failed and that I should use a different payment method. So I switched to PayPal and immediately sent around €400.✅ The next day, I got a notification that my order had been packed and was ready for shipping. Everything seemed perfect. But then I received another email saying: “Your order has been canceled because no payment was received.”😩 That confused me a lot. I had already paid and received a shipping confirmation. So I checked my PayPal account again, confirmed the payment, took a screenshot, and sent it to them as proof. They replied, apologized, and said they would now prepare the shipment. I thought, okay, maybe it’ll just arrive a bit later. But here’s where it gets weird: The package had already arrived the next day, and I even filmed my video and unpacked everything. Then this morning, I got another email: “Your package will arrive today between 2–4 PM.” And yes… it actually did. I just received the exact same glazes again. Same products, same quantity—another full box. At first, I was really excited. But now I feel bad. It almost feels like I did something wrong—even though I didn’t. Clearly, there was a mistake on their side. I honestly don’t know what to do now.🙈 What would you do in this situation? Keep them? Contact 1240? Send them back? I’m heading to my gym birthday celebration now, so I won’t be at skool today—but I’d really appreciate your thoughts. Thanks for your help 🙏

I Just Invented the Triple Fidget Handle Mug… I Think 😳
Started with some leftover clay. Ended with… this. First ball on the handle. Then a second. Then I thought why not go all in? Now it’s a Triple Fidget Handle Mug. No clue if it’s genius or completely stupid 😂 It’s drying now… next step: the kiln. I’m honestly nervous. Wish me luck 🔥

@Suza Roswandowicz Hi! I couldn't know your inspiration, but it's certainly right up my alley. Good job! I haven't done one with multiple marbles in the handle, seems like it might interfere with the ergonomics. Best of luck with the firing
