I also forgot to add I wish people would explain what edgework means inside the skate boot. Where you apply pressure on your foot or toes inside the boot. No one really talks about that. I needed someone to really break it down. It wasn’t until I started to apply that it made sense on how to get on the edge.

@Kita Morris figure 8’s and small tight ones really help. It will teach you to turn sharply and also body mechanics so you don’t lean too far into the edge. I still struggle with this. I’ve been working my inside edges and that one is overlooked a lot.

For me it doesn’t matter but what I’ve learned is that I find it easier when I see people demonstrating videos from behind instead of face forward.
