Systems I created for Studio of Worlds. Hope they are helpful. When creating characters and environments with AI, consistency is one of the biggest challenges. Two simple frameworks help solve this: ICIL for characters ARC for environments Together they create a stable visual world. ICIL — Character Consistency System ICIL helps lock a character so they stay visually consistent across images, animation, and scenes. I — Identity Who the character is in the story. Example: - Professor Pudding - Elenaron - Annihilati Priest - Cyan Pilot This defines the role and narrative purpose. C — Character The physical description of the character. Things like: - age - body type - species - facial features - costume - distinguishing traits This creates the visual blueprint. I — Image The best generated image that represents the character. This becomes the reference image used across tools like: - MidJourney - Leonardo - Kling - animation tools L — Lock Once the design is approved, the character is locked. Future images reference that design so the character doesn’t drift or change. ICIL in simple terms Identity → Character → Image → Lock ARC — Environment Consistency System ARC does the same thing for sets and locations. It ensures environments look consistent from shot to shot. A — Architecture The physical structure of the space. Examples: - room layout - walls and ceilings - windows - consoles - furniture - buildings This defines the shape of the set. R — Reality The design language or world style. Examples: - medieval fantasy - brutalist sci-fi - retro 1960s space station - alien temple This determines how the world visually behaves. C — Conditions The atmosphere and lighting.
