Hey Ladies, happy Monday! This weekend was my son's 13th birthday sleepover party. A couple of days before, my husband let me know he had a conversation with our son, and he told him he wanted things simple. Simple? But if you know me, you know my creativity and my craftsmanship do not really know how to sit still when it comes to showing love to the people I care about. So simple somehow became a full Nike-themed sleepover. Now, not everything came together the way I pictured it. I could not find the pillow covers to make the custom Nike throw pillows I wanted for the boys' beds. I did not have time to put the Nike symbols on the blow-up chairs. And the custom Nike-inspired names I wanted as a backdrop behind each boy's blow-up bed never made it onto the wall, since the decal started peeling the paint. But none of that mattered the moment he and his friends walked into that space. His face lit up. His friends' faces lit up. And in that very moment, he wrapped his arms around me and my husband, because somehow what we gave him exceeded whatever he had pictured when he said the word simple. That is the feeling I want you to hold onto this week as we close out Quarter One with our lesson on positioning and pricing. Because here is the truth. When someone invests in what you offer, whether it is a service, a course, a product, or anything else you built this quarter, you want them to feel exactly like my son did walking into that room. Not just satisfied. Not just like they got what they paid for. But like what they received exceeded whatever they had imagined. That is real value. And I want you thinking about that as you finalize your price this week. But here is something else I want to remind you of, because we are not just building businesses. We are building purpose-driven businesses. That means we are often the answer to someone else's prayer. God places us in position to meet a need someone else has been sitting with, sometimes for a long time. We get to be the manna in the wilderness for someone who is hungry, or the fish that suddenly appear exactly when it looked like there was nothing left to catch.

This was originally meant to be a Day 10 check-in, but the storm shifted priorities for many of us. Preparing, adjusting schedules, and staying safe understandably took center stage. Over the last few days, something may have become clear. Moments like this tend to reveal where our systems are strong and where they’re still forming. For some, the lack of clear schedules or rhythms made it easier to miss days in the challenge. For others, it surfaced the realization that you may have taken on more than your current capacity allows. The storm didn’t create that reality. It simply highlighted it. And that awareness is part of the work. This challenge isn’t about showing up perfectly for 75 days. It’s about noticing what needs to change so you can move toward the version of yourself you’re becoming. Sometimes progress looks like consistency. Other times, it looks like clarity. If the last few days knocked you off track, you didn’t fail. You learned something. And learning is part of building.
