Auctions for Charities
I have a partner with connections to a handful of charities with large(ish) opt-in email lists. I would think auctions would work well for them, and they already run auctions, but in a different format (multiple items for bid couple of times per year, etc.) Does anybody have an experience with running pop up or 24 hours auctions for charities? Pros, cons? Thanks in advance!

@Travis Sago In this format, would it still just be one main prize auction with one main winner, then tap the remainder of the bidders?
Auctions to grow audience
Random thought popped into my head recently, has anybody tried using auctions for their partners and running them in a SKOOL that you created and own.... Thinking here if you have partners in the same niche or one who has connections in that niche you could effectively bring in all the members, like all the members. 6 months of one a month auction and you could have a killer group...

@Travis Sago I have the opportunity to do a pilot with a 10K opt in list with a leadership development partner. My thought was to create a pop up Skool community, send emails to list to drive them to that Skool group for a specific auction date. Are you saying it would better to send out a few emails to the list prior to that, just to see if they would be interested (email poll, I guess) in an auction?
Found this - might be of help!
In the past I have used a few ways to find people, pods, newsletters, FB groups and came across this when searching lettergrowth.com might be helpful for some of you guys looking at targetting peeps! It's actually aimed at people wanting to do newsletter swaps, but its a really good way to find newsletters in your niches :D
