New Brand: PMAX or Shopping Campaign?
Hi Austin, I have done a bit of research on this in regards to what to run for newer accounts with little to no data. However, after I've tried running the shopping campaign, i'm always getting low impressions and CTR. I have upped the budget starting from $0.50 to now $2.07. Maybe it needs to go higher, i'm not sure. Also optimised the product feed using popular search terms and googles "click potential" is showing as "high" on the product feed. However, when running PMAX (I just did it for a day). I did manage to snag a sale, plus the CTR was higher, quite a decent flow of traffic. But I keep reading to not use it on a new account, so that's why I've been trying to figure out the shopping campaign more. I only have 3 products. Is it advised to run a PMAX campaign for each SKU? Someone else mentioned running a feed only PMAX campaign. Or simply just try work out this standard shopping campaign? Thank you!

Thanks so much for your reply Austin! Just wanted to ask one more thing: What are your thoughts on feed only PMAX campaign? For me personally, it kinda made sense. Reason being is because I can't set age limits for normal Shopping campaigns and i'm targeting a mature audience (the website and all is also catered to this demographic). So now I can have a shopping campaign (PMAX feed only) running, but directed at a mature audience only, so I can avoid clicks from demographics which for my case, most likely wouldn't convert. I followed your product feed optimisation video and made all the adjustments I could that I feel would suit. Would love your input!
