I need help
I've been eating 80/10/10 for one year exactly today. And while some things have improved immensely, my list of foods I'm allergic/intolerant of is growing, and I haven't got many left. I don't know why my histamine/mast cells/whatever is causing it is worsening, but I must be missing something, because that aspect of my health is going the wrong way. Any insight is appreciated.

@Miya T Thank you so much for sharing. There are so many similarities. Have you heard of diabetes type 1.5? Basically, instead of an autoimmune reaction that wipes out your pancreas in one fell swoop as is the case in type 1, it eats away at it slowly. There are 4 autoantibodies you can test for. I tested positive for one of them, which I assume explains why I'm struggling with candida --> MCAS --> food intolerances. I'm also anxiously awaiting genetic testing from nutritiongenome to see if there's some genetic reason I'm not able to eat this way, like an inefficient beta carotene to retinol conversion, for example. Maybe that'll point out an issue I need to supplement and I can regain my health. I'm also doing somatic therapy and learning about polyvagal theory, and how huge of an impact it can have on digestion. Doesn't matter what I eat if I can't absorb any of it because I don't have enough blood flowing to my GI tract for that whole "rest and digest" thing. Hopefully one of these things will help. Since I wrote that a year and a half ago, I've lost even more foods. (Though gained mangos back for most of the time at least, which is wonderful!)

Thank you, yes I've tried (and am trying) multiple different things. Hopefully one of them will work :)
Long Distance Hiking on a Fruit Based Diet
Hi friends, I'm curious how feasible it would be to do a long distance hike as a raw vegan. I'm thinking like several weeks long, Appalachian trail type backpacking. Has anyone ever done anything like this? Doug do you have any ideas or experiences? I would imagine that it would be fairly easy in most parts of Europe to maintain a fruit based diet since there's so many small villages where you could stop to stock up, but more remote hikes in other parts of the world maybe considerably harder? Would it be worth it to rely heavily on dates and dehydrated fruits for days/weeks on end just to be able to do something like this?

This is so encouraging, hiking the PCT has been on my bucket list, but I never thought it would be feasible raw, and I don't have nearly enough energy any other way.
acid-free dressing
I can't tolerate any citrus or acid right now. Anyone have any good dressing recipes? I desperately need some. Thanks!

@Dillon Olias I drink water and don't eat much dried fruit at all.

@Dillon Olias thank you for the thought!
In search of a doctor
Does anyone have a tele-health doctor they recommend? I need someone that can order specific labs, which mainstream doctors don't seem to know about. Functional medicine doctors do, but they mostly seem to be on the high-fat, high-salt side of the dietary divide, and I'd rather not pay to have someone tell me to eat differently. (In case it matters, the tests I need ordered are ZnT8, MMP-9, and TGFb1.) Thanks!

Thanks, I've looked into a couple of them which didn't offer these ones, but I'll check the rest out just in case!

@Doug Graham A few years ago, a mold toxin lab was elevated, as was an autoimmune lab for diabetes. We moved, and they both went back to normal. I checked them a couple of months ago and they're both very elevated again, and I don't know why. Unfortunately, 80/10/10 doesn't seem to be enough for whatever it is I'm exposed to.
