Over the past few years I've made crochet blankets for Christmas presents. I've finished ones for my 2 nephews, 2 of 3 nieces, and my brother & sister on my hubby's side, and my youngest 3 kiddos. Each one has been a joy to work on from finding/creating the perfect pattern to the rhythm of stitching and finishing in gifts that are customized to each loved one. The 1st gift for 2026 is for 1 of my oldest 3 kiddos, she couldn't decide between wolves or the ocean so between patterns I'd bought and a couple weeks of writing/adjusting patterns to what I needed I combined her 2 favorite things. I've finished the ocean blocks and have started the wolf. And as always, I have a kitty helper.

Truthfully, this week has dragged on but gone so quickly at the same time! It's kind of like being in a time warp or sorts. All time is distorted and the days are confused. But breath, rest assured, you made it thru!
