If crochet makes you feel stupid, it's not you. I teach "impatient" humans with zero pressure. No hovering or perfectionism—just crochet that clicks.

Lesson 4: The "Tension Reset" Drill
"My hands are learning the rhythm. My mind is finding the rest." Found this one interesting... Left palm sore w/ the tighter stitches, but that isn't why I found it interesting as I knew or figured that. What i find interesting on the loose & just right is about the same for me. My think is when I turn I think is why my projects curl some now that I did this!

They look great! Stitches are even. Are you chaining when you turn? If you go up a hook size does it curl as much?

@Kimberly B your initial chain may be too tight. For that I usually have students try using a larger hook for the chain and then switching to regular hook for the rest
Lesson 1: The "Infinite Chain" (Control & Tension)
So I didn't chain for 5 mins, but a 1 min. I have to upload photos from cell to email then get online computer download them then copy/paste to posts, so it takes some time as I use the computer & not my cell to get online. I have all 4 lessons done, but will take some time for the process lol

Ch w/ 9 SC Starting chain the doing any stitch I don't care for, but once that 1st row is done it's all good after that!

The first row is always the challenge
Lesson 3: The "Perfect Square" (Row Mastery)
Not sure where to post this, so hope this is ok here... I didn't do a swatch as I don't normally do them, but maybe I'll do one later, I have a project that needs completed & trying to do all these fun lil assignments as well. Lot's are great stuff here & thank you! I didn't use stitch markers for this, but on rounds & bigger projects I do! 😉

Day 4: Woven Wellness Check-in
Our wellness is just as important as our work. What is one moment of rest, self-care, or intentional pause you allowed yourself today? (This could be a cup of tea, a 15-minute stretch, or simply stepping away from a difficult row.) How does this moment recharge your 'Maker' spirit? This morning my youngest came to snuggle in bed before I woke up. I laid with her for an hour. Sometimes, just being with my kids is a reminder that recharges me. Something about their heartbeat close to mine, no matter their age.

@Kimberly B very true. I just dont follow videos well. I do better on my own time with the pattern and I like to watch something while I crochet
